The only way Tomb of the Giants is easy(if you can even use that word) is if you watched a walkthrough on the internet or used a strategy guide. Going into that blind was tough, I have beaten Demon's Souls 5-6 times, Dark Souls 5-6 times, and Bloodborne 4 times and I think Tomb of the Giants was one of the toughest areas out of all those games. The enemies are brutal and it's basically pitch black. The first time I wandered into that area I was just like, W......
I highly doubt it's better than Bloodborne. That game is much more unique than any game from the Souls franchise. The weapons, setting, monster design and gameplay are unreal. And I put roughly 1000 hours into the original Dark Souls. The medieval dark fantasy setting is a little played out in my opinion. Give me Bloodborne's Gothic Victorian setting any day.
Tomb of the Giants in Dark Souls was extremely hard. I don't think anything can surprise me from this franchise after playing through that.
It's funny how a comment like that doesn't get tagged for trolling. I have seen much less get labeled as trolling.
For the most part, that was a very accurate objective review of The Division. It was also pretty well written. Nice job. People contemplating purchasing this game should read your review in my opinion. It's a good representation of what you will get.
He needs to create something that compares to the epicness of MGS4. The boss battles were phenomenal in that game. The story was also great, just a bit too much with the cutscene length. MGS5 was weak compared to MGS4 in my opinion. Playing MGS4 for the first time ranks up there with games like Demon's Souls and Bioshock.
No problems, I will just play both Alan Wake and American Nightmare on my Xbox 360. Would be nice to have the option to play both on my XBone though.
Why is the screen tearing a surprise to anyone? Remedy's last games on 360, Alan Wake and American Nightmare had some horrid screen tearing. They were still fun and interesting though. I'm still buying Quantum Break day one. Same thing with Gears of War 4, all the other games in that franchise have a ton of screen tearing but they are still fun, and I'm sure it will be the same with Gears 4 on the XBone. It's very difficult to create a totally v-synced game with a locked smoot...
I'm so excited for Quantum Break, Uncharted 4 and Doom 4. An epic trio of games that will all be great. Really enjoyed the UC4 MP stress test, graphics and gameplay were phenomenal.
They are losers in the real world, probably have no life or job. They leach off their parents, living at home rent free with no real responsibilities and spend the little money they have on gaming. It transitions to how they play games too. It's sad really. Bad genetics and unfortunately they will probably have kids that will be trolls just like them. This has always been something that has existed, though with the current generation of gamers that range in age from 20-30 it has become ex...
Thanks for telling us all about you taking a shit. Very intriguing.
This could really turn out to be something unique, time will tell.
Bloodborne in my opinion is the best game From Software has ever made. I'm personally gonna skip this. And this is coming from someone who put over 500 hours into Demon's Souls, 500 hours into the original Dark Souls, didn't even come close to completing Dark SOuls 2 and put about 250 hours so far into Bloodborne. Bloodborne is right up my alley. I'm currently on NG++++ and still going. The combat is just outstanding. I don't want to go back to shields.
I love this franchise as much as anyone but who really cares about a two week delay when there is The Division, Quantum Break, Dark Souls 3 and Ratchet and Clank to play in the interim. I understand people are excited and looking forward to it, but at the same time some people really need to get a life outside of games.
I'm definitely getting this on my Xbone, just wish Remedy would tune down the screen tearing a bit. I know the game plays smooth in terms of framerate, but I saw a ton of screen tearing last time I watched gameplay on the Xbone. Same thing with Alan Wake, awesome game that was plagued by rampant screen tearing. It should really be taken care of this generation, lazy ass developers I guess. Despite that blemish, should be a very fun game and I'm looking forward to it. Doesn't hurt ...
So excited for this game. Plenty to play in the meantime too between The Division, Quantum Break and Uncharted 4 so it will help ease the pain.
I was really expecting a rock solid 8. Surprised this only got a 7.9
Yea because M$ is churning out all those new IP's right? SONY already gave us Bloodborne and The Order which are both fantastic new IP's. Plus there are many others that I'm not going to even bother listing. Try harder next time.
And some metal gear games were very heavy on story so maybe they would compliment each other.
As much as I love GTA, I would prefer a next gen Red Dead come first. It's been six years almost since Red Dead Redemption.
