My MP GOTY 2016 on PS4 Pro....I got this and the PS4 Pro from Amazon for a grand total of $362 and change because of sales and a gift card. Best money I have ever spent on hardware and software. The MP for BF1 is absolutely amazing and everything is dripping with stunning detail. It's really hard to go back and play MW Remaster after playing BF1. BF1 feels so much more organic and I have always been a COD first gamer.
As opposed to what MS released with the Xbone? Which had worse specs and was announced at a price point that was $100 more than its competition?
This is the reason I personally grabbed one when Amazon had them on sale for $360, not to mention I had a $50 gift card so that sealed the deal even though I don't have a 4K TV. Huge performance upgrades in games like The Last Guardian, Battlefield 1, Killing Floor 2, Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remaster, Black Ops 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Infamous Second Son, Titan Fall 2 and now Nioh. The games just look crisper and frame rates are vastly improved and/or stabilized over the base...
Jesus Christ it's not about graphics, but more importantly the Art Style of the game. Graphics always evolve but an amazing Art Style is timeless more or less. While less powerful, Nintendo's games like Mario and Zelda always nail Art Style. Go play Super Mario Galaxy right now on the Wii in 480p and tell me it doesn't look good still.
Furthermore, I would take a game that has amazing gameplay and average graphics over a game with sub par gameplay but cutting e...
I have been enjoying my Xbone since 2015. I bought it mainly for exclusives I can't get on PS4 as I primarily game on my PS4 Pro. I own Gears of War 4, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3, Ryse Son of Rome and Recore. I enjoy playing them all whenever I get the urge and have no plans on selling my console until I get the Scorpio, providing it plays games like Quantum Break and Gears of War 4 at a rock solid 60FPS. Just like I did with my OG PS4 when I got the Pro last month. I&...
For me personally, I had more fun with Gears of War 4 and Quantum Break than anything Sony released exclusively, aside from Bloodborne maybe. I was disappointed with Uncharted 4, I thought the pacing was terrible. Really looking forward to Days Gone, hoping it makes a 2017 release date. My PS4 Pro has been playing Battlefield 1, MW Remastered and Rise of the Tomb Raider more than anything else. Getting Resident Evil 7 and I'm looking forward to it. Super happy with Gears of War 4 though, ...
Who cares anyway. I will personally be playing on the Pro at 1080/60fps. Looking forward to this, boss battles look crazy.
My personal favorites from this year are Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, COD Infinite Warfare, Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4, Gears of War 4 and Quantum Break. Biggest letdown was easily Uncharted 4 in retrospect. I had much more fun with Gears, Quantum and TR. The tech was impressive for sure but I hated the pacing and story was average compared with the others. Also not nearly enough action. Overall, it was a great year with so many great releases for all genres.
Did you miss Battlefield 1??? If so, definitely check it out. It's a lot of fun and doesn't feel as repetitive as other FPS games. The online is amazing.
It definitely is EA's own fault. They wanted to crush COD so bad this year that they decided to release two triple A shooters at the same time to compete against COD. Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 is so amazing it would have done fine against COD on it's own. Titanfall kind of got lost in the shuffle because aside from COD and Battlefield, there were a ton of other great games that came out around the same time like Gears 4. TF2 would have thrived with a Spring 2017 release in my opinion s...
For me personally, Battlefield 1 blows everything away from a competitive MP perspective. The sheer chaos and bedlam that takes place over the course of each match is incomparable. The WW1 setting, beautifully detailed maps, unique dynamic weather, huge player counts (32 v 32), AMAZING physics engine, insanely detailed graphics and butter smooth gameplay (specifically on ps4 pro), the music and audio, the destruction, the brutality etc. It just all comes together so well. COD and Titan fall...
This article is BS, PS5 is more than likely in development right now with a release window of 2020 to counter Scorpio. M$ is in deep shit because the Scorpio will be between 500-600USD and won't sell all that well as it's really catering to a smaller, more hardcore gamer. How many users who finally took the plunge and bought the Xbone S and finally abandoned their 360's are now going to buy another console in one year that will be expensive? Not to mention a lot of gamers know PS5...
That's nice but when is the new patch coming to fix the framerate on the Pro? Like the way it was before patch 1.04, which they have acknowledged produced some kind of glitch that fucked up the Pro frame rate.
Fix the damn framerate! There's no reason the PS4 Pro shouldn't be able to run this game at 50-60fps on Conquest, which is 32 v 32, on a 1080p TV. It's unacceptable how variable the framerate is. I really enjoy this game, Dice needs to get this new patch out ASAP.
I just picked this up and got an amazon credit card which gave me an additional $50 off. Total paid for my PS4 Pro is $319 with tax! Best deal I have gotten on a console in quite some time.
These guys just get it. I love Titanfall franchise. Titanfall 2 feels so unique and is the most fun I have had with FPS in quite some time. If I were a game developer I too would sacrifice resolution/graphics in favor of a solid 60fps framerate.
Titanfall 2 in my opinion followed closely by Modern Warfare Remastered. That MP is still so addictive after 10 years. Raven did a great job with the remaster.
Actually, moron, to "trump" something means to best it. Kind of like how filet mignon trumps McDonalds or kind of like how Donald Trump trumps Hillary Clinton.
Been playing on PS4 with no problems. Smooth as butter.
Well that's actually a steal for an FPS of this quality. BF1 can easily provide 100's of hours of fun, the MP is that damn good and addictive.
