No Bluepoint isn't owned by Sony......yet. Heres to hoping. Because their remakes are fantastic!
Im thinking if Returnal is a success, Sony definitely will try acquiring them. Just like how after Spiderman 2018's success, Sony ended up making an offer to Insomniac.
Apparently someone discovered the systems SKUs and did a URL "hack" that allows you to add the systems to your cart without seeing an actual store page for the PS5. Someone posted it in a discord channel claiming it to be an affiliate link from twitter and I got mine through there before midnight. I did preorder from gamestop earlier too but i could only choose the $750 bundle so im going to cancel that one now since I secured a PS5 Preorder by itself.
To be fair,...
They were all scheduled to go live at midnight from what I've heard and. Walmart decided to go ahead and opened up their preorders early and the rest responded by opening theirs too.
Update: Nevermind the sites were just broken. I secured one from gamestop and one from amazon.
Already sold out everywhere from where I've checked. Fml
With the amount of deals that MS offers for gamepass. Paying for the system upfront and just paying for game pass ultimate monthly or finding a year subscription for half off during the holidays would come out cheaper over the 2 years if you put the effort into looking for the deals to have long term savings.
Every game SUBMITTED to Sony. Not for every game releasing after July. If the game was submitted to Sony and we already knew about it before July, then thats not necessarily the case.
PS4 cases are still blue which will be the only cases with that upgrade message.
People are stupid. Believe me, putting available is necessary. Not everyone has common sense like us.
Didn't they just move it to the back?
@meshow
The switch has true exclusives that people want to play. And it's portable.
"Microsoft has confirmed the Xbox Series S uses the same CPU as the Xbox Series X running at 3.6GHz. Yes, the Xbox Series S CPU is faster than the PS5"
Thats not nearly as big of a deal as you think. The GPU is still lacking as expected. It would have been dumb for MS to put in a slower CPU as well. This allows them to easily scale the games like they plan to.
Just like a good majority of everyone else around here as well as all the leaks over the months. Im proud of you.
@Spicelicka
Xbox Series X/S games WILL require the SSD to run them (MS and Sony both confirmed this themselves). But previous gen games can be played on an external HDD. You can store the next gen games on the HDD but they need to be transferred to the SSD to play them.
@Starman69
That all depends on what the developer does. Remember, next gen games are going to be pushing the envelope graphically not by just visuals but also the amount of assets being rendered on screen. so just because current gen games run they way they do now doesn't mean next gen games will perform higher with what current devs have been showing off.
With that logic, the PS4 and XBO should have been running every current gen game out there at 1...
I believe BLOPS 4 had health over the players heads on MP.
I just put my Radeon VII GPU on eBay and already have a bid for $699 with 5 days remaining. So I already have a 3080 for free! 😎
Thats cool but it wont be nearly as beneficial on PCI 3.0 as it will be on 4.0.
This is nothing like just buying a studio. They purchased the parent company of a whole publisher, Not just a developer. But I agree, everyone would be saying different if it was the other way around.
