There is a whole account two factor authentication they also need to go through now which requires a unique phone number each time. It mitigates some people but not all of them. So if they get banned they need to buy the game again if they play MP too, create a new account and do another 2 factor authentication with a different number. People will still do it but this helped a lot when they implemented it. CS:GO does this for their ranked playlists.

Even on bronze? Me and some friends found out that if you put one person on each location and have a floater going between all 3 it makes it much easier.

How would it be a waste of resources? Its a simple resolution change and the menu is only being rendered when you are in the homescreen... It's not like the home screen is being rendered in the background while playing games.
It wont be taking resources to render the UI in 4K while you are playing the game. theres no home screen to render during that time. Only time it will render the UI is when you go to the home screen.
I think DF made console wars and fanboys even worse.

Thats true, I noticed that a couple of times but I don't use the media apps very often since my Bravia TV uses Android TV.
Time for MS to push out another update to allow this. They just left beta with the current UI.

Yes I know Demons Souls is a remake from a PS3 game so its technically "not new". I never played it so its new to me and its still only playable on PS5.

We have our opinion just like yours. Just because it looks "convoluted" to you doesn't mean it looks convoluted to all of us. Remember the mess of a UI Xbox One had? Now THAT was a convoluted mess.
Im not here saying the UI is perfect. Theres definitely a few things I would like for them to change, and they plan to improve it based on our feedback...
