Yeah those new party features are giving me a Discord vibe. People talk about how they will never use this stuff but I said the same thing about discord but now discord is one of the best social platforms around right now and love using it.
Interesting to see how all this Xbox UI and embargo stuff was lifted the exact day Sony finally shows off their UI. They don't want to be forgotten.

I would hope they do this since they are coming out with a whole redone PS app for the phones. Thats one thing i like about the Xbox companion app on phones. You can easily access any of your screenshots or recordings from your phone instead of having to start a remote session to show stuff to friends when you are away from home.
The option is to the left of the dictation button. Also shows you can quickly switch to that gyroscope option by just pressing in L3+R3.
So far there aren't signs of quick resume. But launching into a game lobby from Sackboy to destruction all stars was just as fast as Xbox quick resume. Personally I wouldn't be bothered if it is confirmed to not have the feature.
They didn't show us everything so they could be holding that information from us for now to keep people on edge like they did with just initially showing off the UI.
It probably is one press for the menu they show. hold for screenshot and double press for record. or you can change them up like on PS4.

Doubling the FPS is more taxing than you think but not nearly as taxing as running native 4K.

Yes, the PS5 is slightly weaker on paper so this might run a but worse than the XSX version but would you rather have slightly better running cross gen/next gen 3rd party games with a historically unimpressive IMO 1st party lineup of games plus gamepass? Or go for the system that runs 3rd party slightly (if any) worse but has much better IMO 1st party games/franchises.
They didn't just say it... They beat it into everyone like a dead horse. But now if it doesn't do 4k/60 they are just saying it will run worse on PS5. 🤣 Keep moving those goal post's chumps.

After reading this i was just thinking... If they have just shown off a preview of Dirt 5, why hasn't anybody spoken up about how long it takes to boot the game and load in that game? Or did somebody do this and I haven't seen that video yet?

They disagree because I'm not praising what we are seeing here.
This is using that magical Velocity architecture everyone has been bragging about but theres still plenty of pop in I'm seeing. Cross-Gen or not, its "optimized for the full power of the XSX".
I think they just keep showing off the wrong games. Why not some of The Medium? Hell I'm sure they could at least show off some sort of gameplay from one of the games releasing next year. Like Scorn for example. That game has been in development for years. They could make a small demo to show off what the system is capable of.
Ps5 probably has a newer option that's better than live from playstation.

Faster load times will happen regardless of boost modes or optimization.

I remember hearing about it but I don't care.... you are missing my point though. No Xbox UI news has really been popping up at all until the same day Sony shows off theirs. This is one of those "hey don't forget about us!" moments.
