"Ok then, so why did this Xbox preorders sell out just as fast?"
I would say due to the scheduled pre-order time that was set so all the scalpers could setup their bots to scoop them up to scalp on eBay. Also limiting available stock could also be the reason why too.
"I'm telling you this, which ever one I can get first is the one I'm riding with for a while."
Why not just be patient and get the system you re...
But somehow there are over a thousand results on eBay for the XSX but only 387 results for PS5. 🧐
This is a very fair point lol.
Money is more important to them so thats not going to happen and if they do, It's only going to be for their 1st party games. While everyone else will be charging 70 for theirs unless it's a smaller indie type of game of course.
@Atom666
"Well, except for that whole $10 "next gen tax." Odd that digital-only PC gaming didn't get that nice little surprise."
Oh trust me that price WILL go up. Same thing happened when prices went from 49.99 to 59.99 later on with PC games.
Huge difference in the amount of animations going on too!
@Divine
"I am a little concerned about the SSD being soldered on the board as this means that if it fails or if we want to upgrade it a few years down the line, we will be out of luck."
I think you need to watch it again... They show an expandable storage slot during the video. The odds of the on board SSD failing is less likely than any other issue that could happen to the system. Apple has been using soldered SSD storage since the OG MacBook A...
Pretty sure everyone was saying it looks like a refrigerator.. not being the size of one. lol
The larger the heatsink the more heat that can be transferred from the chip to radiate the heat and get blown out of the system with the fan. This design is made to avoid the jet engine noise.
Oh man! I went all out with the C4 on Titanfall. lol The C.A.R smg and C4 was a crazy combo to have in my experience.
Because you can detonate it when you wish instead of timing a grenade cook. And people cant throw C4 back at you.
RPG reloads need to be reduced too. Way too many people rapid firing RPG's on hardcore.
@Dumahim
One can only assume/speculate when no numbers are given yet.
I know what Cerny said, but I wasn't in here telling anybody to buy the 980 PRO for their PS5. Just assuming/speculating what current devices might be on the compatibility list based off of their specs.
@VariantAEC
Yeah we watched the same video.
Disc Drives don't weigh too much at all these days compared to the rest of the components, and you cant rely on a disc drive on the digital version for weight distribution.
Yes, the PSU is at the base of the system but the whole system is still pretty damn tall.
The heatsink most likely being the heaviest component runs along almost the entire length at the front of the...
You sir/ma'am, must never have worked with something complicated before. This teardown was pretty straightforward if you have ever taken apart any device and put it back together.
Theres EVO's Out there now that are already comparable to the PS5 SSD Speeds. And I'm pretty sure Samsung manufactured the SSD for the PS5 back when they were first showing off Spider man back before the PS5 was ever announced. So most likely all the new EVO SSD's out there will end up being compatible. Thats just my theory and opinion though. I could be completely wrong.
Edit: Sorry the 980 PRO (not EVO specifically) 1 TB has read speeds reaching 7000 MB/s, 690...
It's most likely top heavy after seeing this teardown... So I would definitely use the stand. If Sony is including a stand for the system when they never have before, I would say it's pretty necessary to have unless you want that risk factor of one good bump to your entertainment stand and then the floor gets to do the teardown instead of yourself.
This isn't just a simple stand just for the sake of having it. This is a pretty well thought out stand they develo...
Same concern could be said for custom desktops that use it since they are usually in a vertical position. Liquid metal isn't like water. I don't know much about liquid metal but it basically adheres to the surface and when the system is pressed together, there wont be any flow of liquid metal.
It has drop in and out co-op... That's most likely the reason. IDK why people keep thinking this is a single player only game.
Here's a good example.
"as most loot-based titles do require a persistent internet connection to enjoy, as it allows the developer more control over features, and to fight off possible cheats giving players the best items in the game without earning them."
But I thought they all sold out "within minutes"? 🧐
