I'd go as far as to say that AvP2 is one of my top 10 games of all time, period. Single-player was great, multiplayer was amazing and thriving, until the Sierra-Activision merge happened and Activision decided to shut down master servers of "non-essential" games. AvP2 and the Tribes games being on the list.
I seriously played AvP2s multiplayer nearly every week from 2001-2008. That's how good it was.
Crysis' character models are honestly not that smooth, but they were the best from 2007-(around)2010. The edges are pretty hard and jagged looking. The characters still manage to look more REALISTIC than 99% of games today though, due to the facial animation and the way the faces are modeled, not the polygon count.
Any game with DX11 and tessellation has better looking models. Like Metro 2033. Deus Ex HR on DX11 has VERY smooth and rounded models, but the textures on them...
ZOMBIES!!!!! :O TONS of zombies on-screen. Looks pretty epic.
The music is terrible though, I hope that's not the actual game soundtrack.
Non age-restricted trailer for those too lazy to log into Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I have no idea how they were able to keep this such a tight secret, and how much is apparently done judging by the trailer whi...

How could they NOT know it was a joke site. I mean, look at the bottom...
"Steave Jubs and Tupac release a new album, Iphone 7"
"Banging underage chicks on Facebook"
"Tall man caught jerking off into Kinder Surprise egg"
"Visit Kenya, where Obama was born"
This stuff is hilarious. ...
WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE...
^^Horror right there.
TRY PLAYING SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION ON DA HIGHEST DIFFICULTY WITHOUT BEING CAUGHT WHEN POSSIBLE, IT'S TOTALLY NOT DUMBED DOWN BRO.
/sarcasm
Shooting things up was by far the easier route in MGS4. Why? Because the amount of enemies you're killing allows you to get a lot of cash for the upgrades, ammo, and guns. Which is why it's highly recommended to play through it at least once or twice before attempting the Big Boss Emblem, and stock up on the ...
If we're thinking of the same game, it ended up becoming Fable.
I've had my PC in my living room for the past 2 months or so, it's worked really well. And I do use my PS3 controller for a few games. Batman AC and Dead Space 2 recently. The low FOV in Dead Space 2 along with the controls didn't fare too well with my mouse, and I had already mastered Arkham Asylum's combat on the PS3, so I might as well.
That's what Fallout 1 tried to do. And how did that go? Well, it was patched out of the game shortly since enough people complained. Nobody liked it.
It would take a retarded amount of processing power to run games at that. The absolute highest-end PC single-gpus struggle with games at 2560x1600, which is the highest resolution single monitors currently can have. And nowhere near the "4K" resolution. Yet they can 60fps, full AA and max out the same game at 1080p.
I don't think we'll be gaming on that anytime soon. Especially not on the PS4.
Wipeout HD has some of the best graphics I've seen on the PS3, especially considering the resolution, 60fps, and the year it came out.
You're prally right. There is prally nothing to worry about. There is prally nothing weird about saying prally. People are prally just crazy. You prally? I prally.
I'm proud of my FF13 trophy, lol. Took about 130 hours.
It's not that hard with a wheel. The only problem was the endurance races, before saving was allowed. And B-spec, since it's extremely time consuming and likely shortening my 60GB lifespan.
Battlefield 3 didn't get nominated because the SPIKE awards are much less about PC and more about consoles. How Dragon Age 2 is nominated for best RPG, but the Witcher 2 isn't even mentioned is beyond me. Easily one of the best games this year, ignored for being PC exclusive.
If PC was in the contest for best graphics, a PC game would win every year no matter what. That's why they don't do it.
"You say a mouse takes more skill?? Anyone can point and click with a mouse. Try being accurate with two sticks on a controller. That takes years of practice."
That's a really poor argument. Personally handicapping yourself, whatever makes you feel more skillful. That sounds like the fighting stick/gamepad argument. "It takes WAY more skill to beat someone with a fighting stick by using a 360 d-pad, so I'll just keep doing that. THAT GUY BEAT ME!? It...
It's not just that. Literally the entire internet as we know it would be gone.
Forums, Youtube, Google, sites like this. If someone wants this site to go away, all they would have to do is post a link to some blocked website or a video with a copyrighted material somewhere in it, and N4G would come down. Bam, just like that. Plus the site owners would be responsible and go to jail. And since there is no real way to go through this entire website and search for everything ...
How do these pictures look fake at all? They actually look similar to Mass Effect 2, and you can easily see blurry textures. These are definitely in-game. In fact, these screenshots almost make ME2 look better, but ME2 doesn't. The screenshots are really low-quality and compressed as hell since it's Gamingbolt.
Also if you've seen the gameplay videos, ME3 looks a lot better then ME2.
Yeah, and only a few months ago they hit 4 million concurrent. It was around only 1.5 million in 2009. January 2nd, 2012, 5 million people online at once. Not total users, but online at the same time.
Gives you an idea of how fast Steam and PC gaming is growing recently.
Deadly Premonition. They better not butcher the Sinner's Sandwich scene. So suspenseful.

*AHEM* On a serious note... Siren would have the potential to be disturbing as hell.
