The graphics, apart from the resolution, are actually worse than the PS2 versions. Not even close to the PC versions, which is what they should have used as the base for the HD collection. Poor job, Konami.

I loved (LOVED) Heavenly Sword and Enslaved, but this... I don't know. It doesn't seem like Ninja Theory's style. It honestly doesn't look that good. They should have picked someone like Platinum Games.

Hopefully it's as good as AvP2 (PC, 2001) was.

I agrew about the stand-alone cans. The Sennheiser HD 598 with a mic and Astro mixamp blows any "gaming" headset away. They have HUGE soundstages, and are pretty nice for music. I use those for gaming, and Ultrasone HFI-580s for music.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay basically did this. The CoR movie was meh (Pitch Black is great though), but the game was amazing and is definitely the best movie tie-in game ever made. Great story, gameplay, amazing graphics at the time, and stayed more in tone with Pitch Black's style than the actual CoR movie did.

It also pretty much put Starbreeze on the map, who later went on the develop The Darkness, another great game.

Always-on connection DRM is really rare, and tends to cause a PC community outrage. What destroys used game sales on PC is the CD key system, and the fact that almost everyone uses digital distribution (Steam).

For physicaI discs, I like the idea of a CD key that is only needed for installation/online play more than the idea of an online pass that gets permanently tied to an account, since you can play it on any PC you have with no hassle, or even let a friend borrow it they&...

My brother who has only seen me play parts of ME2 and ME3 (enough to get the gist of the story) started thinking Shepard was indoctrinated while I was playing the ending. I figured partially too, so it doesn't take a huge explanation to get it.

I go look at the theory online after I completed the game, and woah, other people thinking the same thing and massive amounts of proof. So I don't think it's that far-fetched.

I think he only produced the first ZOE didn't direct until ZOE 2. But yeah, he's barely done anything this gen. Here's hoping for ZOE 3 at the least.

One of the two leaked scripts had the dark energy ending in place. It was extremely similar to the current energy, except with... dark energy. Made more sense though.

Ooooohhhh maaannn. A poster in there PREDICTED THE ENDING. (Quote below spoiler tag)

*SPOILERS*

"Exactly. There are two endings I wouldn't like for ME 3. One being a random GOD LIKE force that saves the Galaxy or another being that to defeat the Reapers, everyone has to become a primitivst and destroy the Relays, Citadel, etc. Both would make me pretty unhappy as those endings have been done to death."

It's pretty scary t...

EA isn't much better (DLC, online passes BS, Origin), but the actual games under them usually turn out to be great. Recently, Mass Effect 3, Dead Space 2, Battlefield 3, ect.

Activision... COD4 was the last real quality title to come out from them, and Activision almost stopped Infinity Ward from even making it.

A lot of this sounds pretty sketchy. It also completely contradicts the link below, which was leaked by someone who actually has credibility. This person previously leaked info and even the price for the LotSB DLC in ME2 months before it was even known about.

Also, some straw gasping... (Priestly's reply to the Terminator DLC and Mass Shift)

I have SH2 on PS2 and PC, and there are a lot of small details and effects that get lost in the low resolution of the PS2. The resolution upgrade to 1080p alone is a big enough difference, plus it keeps the film grain and intentional effects that the new remake has cleaned up too much.

I mean, even "HD remakes" like the MGS collection are simple native resolution updates to 720p, and it looks miles better already.

You heartless soul. :(

Just watching a video of someone killing him makes me feel terrible for some reason.

*Mass Effect 3 ending spoilers*

He was actually talking about Deus Ex 1. It's endings were, if I remember correctly:

Send Earth into a technological dark age, where communications between everyone would be completely severed. Just like the destruction of the Mass Relays, and the destruction of all reaper-based technology in the Destroy ending.

Join the Illuminati and control all governments on Earth and the flow of information. No real eq...
