Your "Xbox portable" is pretty much coming true, well, the Zune HD seems to be pretty close to being it. And yeah, it's getting a whole lot of praise, and not much hate.
The PSP is cheaper than the DSi. So I don't really see the problem with the price, considering the PSP has much better multimedia functionalities and specs.
The PSP version could be top down like these old MG game. I'm not saying it should, but it could. Of course, if it were, I'd be the one playing on the PS3...and give my PSP to my friend...
not really, I'm guessing it would be a PSP game, maybe like PO, and a PS3 game, like MGS4, sold separately. One would have you play as Big Boss and the other as Raiden. However, if you happen to have all the gears and both games, you get to play it in co-op. That's what I understand, but I might be wrong. I'm guesssing it would be similar to FF:CC Echoes of Time on the Wii/DS, the game is fully playable on both platforms, but if you have both and 2 games, they can play the game together.
Well, obviously she thought Raiden looked really cool and had all the operations done to her body so she can look like a weird male robotic ninja bleeding white blood, but of course, she couldn't afford to pay for blue contacts after these operations, so she sill has her brown eyes.
only problem with what you said : 120GB, from what I understand in this article, the ZuneHD will use flash memory, so I don't expect it to have a 120GB model. Also, they're keeping the 120 Zune "classic" most likely because the Zune HD won't have such capacity. Of course, I could be wrong, and hopefully I am, since I'd like the zune HD to have a 120GB if it's going to support HD stuff.
Edit : so anyone who read the article cares to tell me where my reasoning fails, or w...
yep, finally something interesting.
About the ZuneHD, ZuneX or whatever it will be called if it even exists, I'd like to warn everyone about it.
As of now, the Zune as pretty much always been following the iPod. Having the same capacity, similar screen size, battery life, features, although the Zune has some the iPod doesn't and missing some features of the iPod. Their price is also quite similar. The Zune has pretty much always been one step behind, may it be only a few weeks behind, but never really ahead.

as a x360 and Zune owner, I hope they announce some great stuff at E3, as I'd be happy to replace my Zune120GB for a Zune Hd if the specs are as good as what has been rumoured.
However, when it comes to gaming, I can hardly see MS making more than a few announcements. MS has very few first party studios, making it unlikely that they will announce an onslaght of new first party games. The PS3 has lost most of it's important esxclusive franchsises, as only MGS and FFV13 seem to be ...
I can see why the original Xbox topped the PS3, most likely due to the Xbox name also being in the Xbox 360 name. Alot of people refer to their 360 as their xbox, so I guess it helped alot.
What I'm really wondering is how the PSP is higher than the PS2, both bear the Playstation name, but the PS2 is much more iconic. It's widely used in movies, tv series, ads and books, while the PSP while being a good selling device is rarely seen.
Oh, don't worry, they'll finish it. Well, the 360 version that is, and it will most likely feel a bit rushed. But finished nonetheless.
It seems that SE's most productive teams are working on it's many handheld games, which are actually quite good and are selling very well. But when it comes to consoles, they seem unable to deliver a "great" game by themselves (SO4 being developped by Tri-Ace) in a reasonable timeframe. Hopefully, 2010 will be the year when most of thei...
yeah, but let's face it, Capcom wasn't able to get Lost Planet running on the PS3 as well as the 360 version, despite releasing it months after and Dead Rising Chop til you drop wasn't the game it could have been. It seems Capcom is able to deliver some great games this generation, but when it comes to porting it to another platform after the initial release, they have been decent at best.
Edit : I forgot about Okami and RE4, which were better on the Wii.
don't be too harsh on socomnick. Afterall, it's not unusual for mentally challenged kids to make up stuff and to live in a world of their own where their little fantasies are actually a reality.
In his wicked little world, trolling is actually an olympic sport and he's pretty damn good at it. Last year, he got the silver medal.
Edit :
SONY might want to bring back some of it's production in-house, in Japan. That way, they could create some jobs, which would no...
CS belongs on PC. Some games just are a better fit on consoles or on PC.
For example, Starcraft 2, CS and World of Warcraft are meant to be played on PC. CS is still relevant today mostly because it's tournament material, so having an aim-assisted version on console (because it would be like most shooters on console) would only please those unwilling to play on a competitive level. Also, CS and even CS:S can be run on a very low end PC, don't be cheap, if you want to play CS, buy...
I know alot of people think like you. However, I for one don't want to see DNF being done by anyone else than 3DR. I'm not saying they are the best at what they do, and I'm not saying that iD or Raven couldn't make the game, but it wouldn't be the same.
I'd rather not play a Duke game than play one not made by 3DR. I don't want to see DNf become one of these franchise that were created by a dev but that were then given to some new dev who would try to put their personal touch in...
Why so many disagrees in this thread?
hmmm, anyone tried to get it at Futureshop? The website says they have it in stock in many FS, but I don't know if they only have it in stock or if they are selling it.
Hey Spoony, I'm a Canadian, and while we have most games before Europe does, I still think we have it bad :(
PSStore movies? Nope. Netflix? Not happening. EBgames/Gamestop pnline store? Not for now, we can use the US ones and pay for the shipping though. Paying 69.99 for a new game when we used to pay 59.99 about a year ago despite the fact that our dollar was about as strong as it is right now compared to the US one (I mean, since it's release, CoD4 actually had it's price go up...
I know it's not a real sport, but Deathrow is a pretty awesome "sport" game.
I might be getting one if it's cheaper, but it definately won't be as a replacement for my PSP-2000 (which replaced my 1000), since from what I read, it has a smaller screen, I'm not too sure about the way they pllaced the stick and until they confirm there's a way to get your old games on it or to buy it back, I'm not giving up on my old PSP.
I'm not sure we'll be seeing games like Generation of Chaos or other more "obscure" titles on the PS Store any time soon.
