Razer, while I could agree with you, when it comes to Dennis, I believe he deserves all the criticism he has been getting. He hyped Too Human as being the be all end all of gaming, the one game you must buy an X360 for and that you'll be enjoying more than cocaine. In the end, Too human was merely more than your usual sub-par action game, with a messy camera that needed quite some time to get used to(not a problem, however, I still don't understand why they couldn't use a more traditionnal on...
it has been proven in the past that the PS3 can do as good and sometimes slightly better than the 360 with multiplatform games. However, most multi platform games run slightly better on the 360, mostly due to the complexity of the PS3 hardware, these problems were usual a few years ago, but recently, most devs were able to pull out about the same quality on both platforms.
This time, the devs were unable to do so, sent us back to the day the PS3 games HAD to be inferior and, wors...
at the moment, the Wii is considered by some developpers as being comparable wih the PSP and the PS2. There are quite a few games that have been put on the Wii and the PSP, the Wii and the PS2 or all 3 of them. This is the main reason alot of 3rd party games look so dated on the Wii, they are still being developped with the PSP/PS2 in mind.
Of course, doing so also allows the devs to develop a game for over 200 millions potential customers, about 4 times more than developping a ...
but really, where's Panzer Dragoon Orta? Or what about JSRF and Phantom dust?
...I guess I'll have to check eBay then...
Well, I'd say that God of War 2 and FF12 looked better than most games found on either the Xbox or the GC. Of course, that's most games, not all games. Halo 2 and RE4 looking better than pretty much anything on the PS2. However, looking at the PS2's specs, which were clearly inferior (the Xbox had more than twice it's processing power), it proved that good developpers were able to use the PS2 to it's full potential.
actually, the 2nd gen ipod touch was released last september and is soon coming to the end of it's cycle, expect the "real competitor" from Apple to be the 3rd gen iPod Touch sometimes in September.
But even then, after seeing the iPhone 3GS' specs, I doubt the next iTouch will be as powerful as the Zune, I guess it will al depend on software support afterwards.
I somewhat agree with you, except for the Crysis part.
KZ2 looks great, but it's mostly because GG were smart enough to hide the game's "flaws". The overall package is amazing and gorgeous, but look closely at the textures, are they great? nope.
On the other hand, Crysis is simply beautiful, thanx to high resolution textures and AA. It doesn'T really "hide" anything, it's pure graphics.
Of course, when compared in motion, both will ...
Hour of Victory is the answer you are looking for. Not only is it a technical marvel, worthy of being one of the wonders of the modern world, but the game also happens to be the best I ever played since Bomberman Zero and Superman 64!
But seriously, it's not like the 360 can't do most the stuff the PS3 can. Gears2 still has some of the sharpest textures seen on a video game console, GTA4 has amazing animation (on both consoles), and many games on the 360 look about on par with th...
well, now that you mention it, it does have bluetooth now, so I guess it could work!
I believe what you are asking for is what some referred to as "Home 2D" back then. A ser5vice that would allow to use most features found in Home (the "useful" ones if you like; opposed to the entertaining ones, like mini-games and the theatre), more efficiently and without all the bells and whistles found in Home.
But I think Sony has so many plans and opions when it comes to Home, the XMB and even Free Realms, it's hard to know what they are really planning...
I would have thought that the 2 last sentences made it somewhat clear thet it was sarcasm, but as some people said before, sarcasm is harder to detect when writing on the internet rather than when speaking.
Cmon, we all know the PS1 was a MAJOR failure. It was easily outsold by the N64 and the Genesis. It didn't have any good games at all compared to the N64. We all know that Quest 64 is, by itself, better than every single RPGs on the PS1. The PS1 was so much os a failure Sony had to leave it on the market for 10 years for it to sell decently. It didn't bring any new franchises and didn't establish Sony as a gaming behemoth, nope. Also, I heard it created cancer, ate the soul of ken kutaragi, b...
but, I don'T see the retailers raging about Steam, or about the EA online store, or D2D. What's so special about Sony so that NOW they complain. They get screwed by pretty much everyone, but now that Sony is doing it for one model of one of it's console, they are angry about it?
For months, retailers have been removing PSP games from the shelves claiming it's not selling and it's only taking space that better selling games like Petz and nintendogs could use, so why complain now t...
did you even care to read the article? the customers don't care about the retailer's fate, not the PSP Go
while the 10 commandments are a part of the religion, I do think that everyone should know them and most likely respect them, even if they do not believe in God.
I mean, stuff like not killing, not stealing are good things things to know and respect.
actually, I believe LG released a phone like a year or two ago that allowed for 120fps videos.
From what I read, Natal is much more precise than the PSEye alone. It also works in the dark. Just think of Natal as an improved version of the PSEye, in pretty much everyway. I'm also guessing it has a better camera, when I used to play the Eye of Judgement, I noticed the picture quality wasn't really good and looked grainy and the colors seemed odd too.
Of course, the PSEye along with the new motion controllers that Sony demoed at E3 will make it even more precide than Natal (a...
still, only getting maybe something like 1-2 hours on it while playing is quite small. I don't spend my day in a car or inside. The reason why I have and use such a device is usually because I'm outside, on the go. If I had my computer ready, I wouldn't be playing some bloody games on my iPhone/iPod Touch.
Enjoy your 30 minutes to 2 hours of battery life? Sure, the iPhone 3GS and, most likely, the 3rd generation iTouch (which I'll be buying when it's released) will most likely have some great graphics for some games, but after a few months of experience with my 1st gen iTouch, I can say that battery life is a problem when gaming on your iTouch, and despite the better battery they're putting in the 3GS, the specs are also more demanding, power-wise.
The thing is, when your PSP or DS...
