...or two this year in response, then I'll almost definitely be able to pick one up. I've had a 360 since launch, and I've had a blast playing it, and I'll continue to have a blast playing it, but I'm itching to get a PS3 and a couple games that aren't on Xbox.
Can you elaborate at all without giving away too much?
I kinda wanna get it, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, thanks for responding. It's much appreciated.
I've sent my console in four times, and received a nice little bit of stuff for all my troubles, which includes:
-Project Gotham Racing 3
-Wireless controller (may have been a mistake when they sent me a new (or refurbed) console in a retail box)
-Quick charge kit
-One month of Xbox Live
While it definitely sucked having to send in my console numerous times, I think I've been compensated for my troubles.
is it just like the side missions?
If so, count me out. I love Mass Effect, but after doing almost every single side mission on my initial playthrough, I've had enough lol. I don't need to spend $5 to something that's probably like what I've already done numerous times.
I haven't supported HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, dumb*ss. I held off on getting either, for this very reason. I didn't want to put money into a failed format.
In fact, now that a format winner has been decided I'm looking to get a PS3 once I get some extra money. It'll be for Blu-Ray, but also because there are some great looking games I want for it.
Just because you're a retarded fanboy, who's loyal to one console, doesn't mean everyone else is. Now please shut the f*ck u...
MS using Blu Ray drives is the same thing as Sony VAIOs using Windows.
It's a business world, and of course MS and Sony need to be business partners at times. It's just how it is.
I don't even know why someone would waste their time and money making such a horrible game.
I will say this though, it was absolutely hilarious to shoot a bench or something else, and see the delay from shooting it to when it breaks. It's just so awful that it made me laugh.
I feel bad for anyone who buys this rubbish.
...what exactly is a 'Bioshitock'? I'm confused...
That makes me very sad :-(
I love the GRAW series, and it basically expanded my gaming tastes as it was the first shooter I ever bought and played. Before GRAW, it was all sports, racing, fighting and wrestling games.
Seriously, XBL is fine. If you paid the retail $50 for the service, it breaks down to less than $1 a week over the course of a year. A week to two of suspect service equates to less than $2. They're offering a free XBL game, which based on cost, could be worth $5 (400 point game), or $10 (800 point game). That seems more than fair enough to me. I don't know why people are complaining so much. I mean, it sucks when the service is acting up, but it isn't the end of the world.
I've had mine since launch, and this is by far, the most games I've owned for any console probably.
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Dead or Alive 4
Fight Night Round 3
Forza Motorsport 2
Gears of War
Halo 3
Madden NFL 2006
Madden NFL 2007
Mass Effect
Project Gotham Racing 3
Saints Row
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2

Ubisoft might sue you!!!!
I had been planning to get this, but now I'm not so sure. Hopefully there'll be a demo so I can make a decision.
I want for them to not re-release the game on PC a year later, with more MP maps and bonus chapters, for a cheaper price than what the console buyers spent.
You took my answer.
I'm not gonna lose, because when (if) I make the jump to a High-Def format, it will only be after a winner has emerged. For now, DVD is perfectly fine for me.
Well I just pre-ordered the LE from bestbuy.com.
Most LEs don't sound too appealing, but this one actually comes with some really good stuff.
I can't wait for this game.
...is that a week ago Ubi was having problems fitting it all on a DVD 9 and having problems with the PS3's split memory or whatever.
They resolved both of those in a hurry, or it was just bullsh*t rumors created by someone with no life.
I'm not sure if I wanna plunk down $60 for it. I doubt many of the people on my friends list will be getting it, and I prefer to party up with friends for MP.
...can we all say rushed games?
I'm ROFLing at everyone jumping on the "art direction" band wagon after one person used that to describe the game.
