...but I'm tired of reading sh*t from Pachter, whether it's pro-Sony, anti-Sony, pro-360, anti-360, pro-Nintendo, or anti-Nintendo.
This includes videos of him as well.
Ummm ok. Whatever you say, chief.
They could have came up with a better name than 'Nectar'. :-\
Sadly, no :-(
I just have a Premium 360. I actually bought a cheapie HDMI cable when I got the TV, but haven't been able to use it yet (Comcast doesn't offer HD programming in this area yet). I actually like the white color of the Xbox, so I wasn't compelled to get the Elite just for HDMI. I'm sure eventually I'll use all 20 gigs of the HDD, but I still have like 7 or 8 gigs free, so the 120 gig HDD wasn't necessary for me as of yet.
Like I said in a previous pos...
I have a 61" Samsung 1080p DLP TV, but I don't know what HDMI looks like. My 360 is hooked up through component and it looks incredible. I do want to see if there's a difference with HDMI though, just so I can be certain I'm getting all I can out of my TV and Xbox.
They have the codenames on the box where it was manufactured.
When the 65nm 360s release, it should say FALCON on it, instead of ZEPHYR.
Once the 65nm HDMI 360s release, I might take mine to GameStop and do an exchange.
Does anyone know what the difference (in price) is between trading in a used console for a new one?
My brain died reading that guy's blog. He's a f*cking illiterate dumbass.
...if you try to pick up chicks over Xbox Live.
You might be an even bigger loser if you use Halo in your pick up lines.
I pick them up if it looks to be worth the extra money. I got the Gears collector's edition and I like it. The tin case is pretty sweet, as is the coffee table art book and bonus DVD.
I also have the CE for WWESVR07, which was worth it. It came with an entire disc from the History of the WWE Title DVD set. It had some classic matches on it.
I also got the CE of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I think the store clerk accidentally gave it to me, cuz I was only charged...
...this coming from the same person who names Hot Shots 5 as a must have for PS3 owners.
Get a life dumb*ss.
If you did, then you would realize that the next Rainbow Six game is a continuation of Vegas because of the ending.
I can't wait, because the ending to Vegas SUCKED.
Forza 2 is such an awesome game.
At times I get frustrated with it because some cars seem to handle like sh*t no matter what you do to them, like the f*ckin' Corvettes. I cannot for the life of me get them to handle right to win the Corvette races.
A little less than two hours until this content is released. Stupid Pacific time :-( I wanted to download the cars now but I need to go to bed. Oh well, I'll snag em tomorrow whenever I fire up the Box :-)
If I had $500 or $600 to drop on a PS3, I'd do it. As it stands, I don't have that kind of money. With so many great titles coming to Xbox 360 that I want, it's hard to justify making such a purchase.
If (when) the price gets down to $300 or $400, and they have more games that I want to play, I'll most likely get a PS3. Killzone 2 is shaping up to be a must have game. If the PS3 isn't at a low enough pricepoint for ME when KZ2 releases, then I'll be left out :-( Eventually thou...
I see what you're saying, but I just think it's unfair for them to get more content than we have, for a cheaper price. Obviously it was our choice to buy everything, but why should they get MORE for less? If it wasn't for the 4+ million gamers that bought it in the first place and made it so popular, then there wouldn't even be a reason for them to want to bring it to PC.
"Hey, you made our game popular, so we're gonna use that to give bonus content to PC users at a cheape...
As was the case when there was the multiple Halo 3 discs discussion, one disc could be for single player, and another for multiplayer. I don't see why that would be any kind of issue.
I've already expressed my frustration over this whole thing and I've come to the conclusion that if they were to release it as DLC, then I probably wouldn't pay for it, pending the PC version cost.
I've already spent $80 on it ($70 Limited Edition + $10 maps), so adding more content would make it at least $90, and why would I pay more than what the PC gamer pays?
They got my console the 27th/28th of June and I'm still waiting.
One time when I called, the rep told me my console needed "multiple repairs".
I called two days ago, and another rep could only confirm that my console has been "received at the repair center".
It used to be we would get our console back in three weeks from the call to MS. Then they said it would be four to six weeks, then they said it would be four to six weeks fr...
That really doesn't make much sense, because the game still runs on MICROSOFT Windows XP/Vista.
However, Epic making UT PS3 holiday exclusive could be for the whole DLC fiasco.
Oh well. Like was said by someone else, I'm not gonna rush out to get Gears of War 2 if this is how Epic treats the consumers. Why pay $80 for a game, when it'll come to the PC later, with more content, for probably cheaper? Yeah right. Epic can kiss my ass if that's how it's gonna be.
Seriously, I don't even see how they think that's fair.
The PC version price better be at least $80 or more because that's what us 360 owners have already spent...$60.00 for the game ($70 if they do the CE)...$10.00 for the second batch of multiplayer maps. Throw in the five extra chapters, new gameplay mode and a map editor, and us early adopters feel very cheated. They're basically saying, "F*ck you, we don't care that 4+ million of you bought the game and made it as pop...
...will determine whether this is purchase or a rental. I really want to buy it, buy this demo can cement my decision. My download is at 25% at last check. I JUST started it too...can't wait to play.
