I thought the cutscenes were worth watching. The story isn't great, but it is solid enough, especially considering the gameplay is where the game really shines.
...and I've only purchased one theme pack from the marketplace. I'm pretty sure I never purchased any gamerpics either, unless you count the gamerpics and themes that came with the LE of Mass Effect. I usually just stick with the free ones, like GeoW and the few Halo 3 ones.
I'm pretty sure I won't buy much, if anything, for my avatar. I just see it as a waste of money, that could go towards an XBLA game or a retail game.
I'd get it, but I just bring myself to spend that much for it.
I've bought a few of the limited editions (GeoW, Mass Effectm WWESVR07) and all are worthwhile IMO. I'm getting the LE of GeoW2 at GameStop, but this bundle is just a little out of my price range.
Besides, I should be getting a PS3, so that extra money that COULD have gone toward the Lancer Bundle can go toward PS3 games or Blu-Ray movies.

Definitely getting Gears 2 collector's edition. The first one was pretty awesome, and this one sounds awesome as well.

...is a moron. Not for getting a PS3, but for trading all his Xbox stuff for it. Just save up all year and buy a PS3 to sit next to your Xbox, or ask daddy for one for Christmas.
Also like someone else said, how the hell did he not know about MGS4 until now? He watches all the shows, yet knew nothing about anything PS3 until E3 LMAO. GTFO.
Well she isn't a hardcore gamer, but she definitely doesn't mind me playing games. She actually got me my Xbox 360 at launch as a Christmas present.
Multiplayer sounds awesome. Getting a PS3 this Christmas, and getting KillZone2 in Feb. Wifey's birthday is in Feb., so I'm not quite sure that will work... o_O

Why are people disgreeing? They think the gameplay videos we've seen look better than this? I complimented the game because it looks so much better than this trailer.
To be honest, the trailer doesn't do the game justice, at least what I've seen gameplay wise so far. The gameplay looks better than that trailer IMO.

...so GeoW2 is the only game I'm really planning on getting. There's quite a few others on the list that interest me that I could pick up later based on gameplay videos/demo/reviews.
They're getting rid of the numbers, because the game will release every year. Annual releases have generally been sports and wrestling games for the most part, and have the stigma of being the same game with a few updates or tweaks. If they get rid of the number, and just come up with a new name every year to follow "Call of Duty" it won't quite seem like a yearly release.
...but I've worn out the left analog stick on two controllers so far. By that, I mean that it 'sticks' a little bit. I noticed it on my first controller playing Madden. On defense, my player would move to the left on his own.
Other than that, I can't complain about it. It fits perfectly in my hands and every button is easily accessible.

That's it for me really. It would be horrible though if EA made a console. It might be the darkest day in gaming history, and it could possibly unite Xbox and Playstation fans against a common enemy. That would be good, but it wouldn't be worth it if it came because of an EA console.
