...so it looks like I'm gonna go back and get the difference. I might use it to pre-order Killzone 2.
I appreciate it.
I will admit that I haven't played it much as my 360 (yet), but I did pick up Resistance: Fall of Man and Hancock on Blu-Ray. R:FoM is an excellent game and has some great weapons to use in it. I will eventually get Resistance 2 as R:FoM left me wanting more, but Killzone 2 is at the top of my gaming priorities list.
After that, we'll have to see what games are coming out on which consoles and when lol.
Bubbles to you as well.
As a 360 owner since Christmas '05, with 26 games (and counting), Killzone 2 is the must have game for me that made me finally get a PS3.
Killzone 2, coupled with the $150 rebate using the Sony Card, as well as starting my Blu-ray collection, made me a proud PS3 owner.
February 27th can't come soon enough.
Those mostly look like screenshots from the announcement trailer.
Still looks good nonetheless.
...I think this looks like it'll be a blast, but it's coming out too close to Killzone 2 to get it. I'm sure I'll eventually get it, maybe when the price drops or something.
...I'm definitely looking forward to the next Ghost Recon game...hopefully it'll be in the Advanced Warfighter series, which was rumored to be a trilogy.
GRAW was my first shooter and it's an awesome game. GRAW2 is awesome as well.

This game is the reason I wanted a PS3 and the reason I got a PS3.
I seriously cannot wait for this game. I've already put in a request off at work for it for a couple days. Hopefully there will be a midnight release somewhere around here for it. I'm so stoked!!!
Thanks for the comments.
I'm a gamer, not a fanboy. I play games, not systems. I've been very loyal to the 360 having close to 30 games for it, as well as a few controllers and accessories, but I'm a gamer when it comes down to it all and Killzone 2 looks too awesome to miss.
I'm currently playing through Resistance: Fall of Man and it's pretty damn good so far. I'm thinking I'll eventually want to get Resistance 2, but Killzone 2 is at the top of my gaming list righ...
I'm not a Halo fanboy, so I won't be getting Halo Wars. GTAIVDLC might be a purchase for me, but definitely down the road. I've waited too long to get a PS3 and Killzone 2 for me to pick GTAIVDLC over it.
The Sony card arrived today, but I had work. :-\
My awesome wife though, went and got it for me when she got off and had it waiting for me when I got home. :-D
I was getting it all set up during the end of the Colts/Bolts game, so that was pretty exciting.
Once I got it all set up, I popped in Resistance and played for a bit. The game looks pretty good, especially considering it was a launch title. I had to map out the buttons a little better to what I'...
I picked up Resistance the other day in anticipation of getting my PS3 (once my Sony card gets here). KillZone 2 will be the second game I purchase and is the main reason I've wanted to get a PS3. it's all coming together quite beautifully.
=)
I used the Kombo.com walkaround to get it where you download the five .rar files, extract them and then burn the content folder to a CD. I tried to play last night and it wouldn't let me. That's really messed up that they would do something so petty. Big deal, we got access to a region locked demo. It isn't like we modded our consoles and are playing burned retail games.
...at a buddy's house the other night, and I wasn't really impressed. CoD 4 was my first CoD game, and the infinite enemy spawning until you progress to a certain point is retarded. this is still present in this game. I don't know why they do that. It's so annoying that I might not buy another CoD game.
I'm still pissed that 98% of the time we can only see one image out of the four that were used for each theme. It uses one for the main dashboard, then the others are used for the guide button functionality blades, which is then 85% blocked by the blade. They should make it so the theme images are in a fading rotation on the main dashboard.
I deleted all my zero gamerscore deleted arcade trial games.
I'm kinda p*ssed that all of the themes I have are pretty much useless. I mean, I can see one of the pictures out of four that come with every theme, but what happened to the other pictures?
Also, for as sleek as it all looks, why does what the guide button bring up look so dull and boring?
That's a steal. I wasn't too interested in it, but I might have to get it for that. That is of course depending on what time I work. Working retail sucks balls, especially for Black Friday.
...but I can see that getting really repetitive.
"The slick move by Microsoft here is that it's releasing the update on the 19th, just a couple of days after the extended warranty period for launch Xbox 360s end."
O rly?
The Xbox 360 launched on November 22nd, so if it were to RROD from the update, anyone who updates within the first couple days would be within the three year warranty period.
I've never played a Resident Evil game before, and this is my first one, but if they're all similar to this one, I don't see what the hype is about.
The game looked awesome, but the controls were horrible. The lack of ammo is pretty retarded too. You have a horde of zombies attacking you, and there's only a handful of ammo around. It takes a ton of ammo to drop most zombies as well. The close quarters combat is horrendous. When you run out of ammo, you're basically boned.
