Completely agree.
There's like 15 Killstreak Rewards, and like...four Deathstreak Rewards, which all suck from what I can tell.
I fail to see how Copycat is beneficial at all. Painkiller doesn't do much either.
Compare those with Predator Missiles, Harriers, AC130 Gunships, Pavelows and Nukes, and it sure does favor the people that don't need the help to begin with.

that this is actually MicoSofts Xbox 720 but they've secretly kept their name off the product as not to frighten their 360 fanbase?
The "MicroConsole", on"LIVE", the controller, it all seems a little fishy. Next thing we know 6 months before release M$ has "surprisingly" bought out the company and its idea and the system gets released as a M$ console. The only thought against it is the sleek/stylish/compact des...
Yeah, it really doesn't have any hype at all.
I LOVED the first one, and I want to play the second one, but I just don't know if it can live up to the first one. Bioshock, and Rapture, just had such a charm to it.
I'm also a bit hesitant of the sequel because Ken Levine and 2K Boston (I think) aren't making it.
Finally, it's also releasing at a really bad time for me. I'm still playing through my Christmas games (Dragon Age: Origins and Fallout 3 GOTY), ...
"because of fanboy drivel Reach is going to sell. What sucks is that because of further drivel that those fans wont simply be satisfied with their game, they have to dis on anything and everything not their game or on its system."
Halo: Reach will sell well because Bungie is an awesome studio and they are always in tune with their fanbase. No other dev is as close with their fanbase as Bungie is.They provide updates almost every single week. They keep their fans up to d...
I know, I just don't want to possibly overuse the Blu-Ray lens for DVDs.
I've had a PS3 for about a year, and I've only bought a handful of exclusives for it.
I purchased my PS3 just so I could have buy and play Killzone 2, and I ended up buying inFamous because of the demo. Once the hype train for Uncharted 2 went into full gear, I decided to give Uncharted: Drake's Fortune a second go (first was at a friend's house and I couldn't really get into it), which convinced me to get Uncharted 2.
Those are some awesome games, and I'm glad I was...
Great point alb.
I would like to say that Halo 3 still has amazing graphics. A lot of people don't think so, but in my opinion, Halo 3 is a gorgeous game and leaps and bounds better looking than Halo 2.
I don't think it really contains any spoilers, unless someone wants to seclude themselves from any and all info until the game releases.
That said, the article is awesome. It's kind of hard to add a lot to a prequel so that it fits within the storyline, and such, but the info they shared sounds great.
"he definition of overhype is, "to promote or publicize to excess."
where does it say that a it has to do bad? people like you make it seem like the term is bad, when in fact its not at all.
Did you even read the full article? It clearly says at the end that this helped Halo for the most part. Just because it's "overhyped" doesn't mean its bad dude. People like you give the word that negative connotation"

That's how many unique users have played Halo 3 in the last 24 hours. That many gamers aren't still playing this game based on "hype".
It wasn't supposed to be DLC. It was never announced as DLC.
It was, however, announced to be "a stand alone expansion".
That said, I love ODST. The campaign is awesome and has a lot of great moments. The way missions are played through flashbacks is awesome. Playing in the dark of night was really fun as well, and the VISR looked awesome.
Firefight makes it a complete package and adds a ton of replayability.

"Because you're a PS3 fanboy but it's not like you guys would admit it if it did look better or let people have their own opinions, favoring 360 graphics over PS3 graphics lol."
I'm a PS3 fanboy? Really? Did you even read the rest of my post? Would a PS3 fanboy be defending ODST? Would a PS3 be excited about Reach?
I'm not a PS3 fanboy, I'm not a 360 fanboy. I play GAMES, NOT consoles.
Not that I feel I have to explain anything to you, but I ow...
How will I be disappointed?
Halo 3 is awesome, and it's probably the game I've played the most. Bungie is a great studio, and they're in tune with their fans. i fail to see how I'm leading myself into a world of disappointment.
A lot of people argue that ODST cost too much, but yet it gives more value than a lot of other single player only games that retailed for $60 when they released.
Bioshock, Dead Space, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, etc.
Is the campaign short? Yes, but it packs a punch and is awesome from beginning to end.
Does Firefight have matchmaking? No, but it's a lot more fun to play with friends than randoms.
Will the Reach beta be awesome? Hell yeah it w...
Awesome. I can't wait until Reach falls.
...so I have plenty of the game left ahead of me, but I'm sure this will be a buy for me down the road.
The screen shots look awesome, especially that dragon.
The only game from this list that I'll be getting at release is Mass Effect 2.
I have a lot of interest in Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno, but they're just releasing too close to ME2, which get my full attention.
I also have a little interest in Splinter Cell Conviction, mainly due to the co-op campaign, so I'll probably buy it when it drops in price.
My personal favorites, in no order...
Killzone 2
Halo Wars (I also like the alternate cover that's on the back of the steelbook case)
Halo 3: ODST
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
inFamous
Dragon Age: Origins CE
Assassin's Creed 2
I don't feel like my gamertag (same as username here) is hard to pronounce if one knows how to read, but soooo many people on Live can't say my name.
"Hey yo STICKzo...whatever your name is, you're a retard (or some other unimaginative insult)!"
"It's STICKzophrenic, dumb*ss. Maybe if you knew how to read, you would be able to say it properly."
Agreed.
I'm not ready to buy another console yet either. By 2012 or 2013 I might be ready, but the 360 and PS3 are both continually releasing amazing quality games.
