"Halo 3 may not be in HD, but IMO I don't mind one bit. The game looks fine enough, and the lack of strong graphics allowed for things like split screen, forge, theater mode, co-op, etc.
That is what i love about Bungie: instead of focusing on graphics they focused on making the best damn gameplay available on consoles.
Now Reach is trying to please graphic fans, but I hope they don't make it their only number 1 priority. half of what makes the MP so fun is the ...
I think WaW has a great campaign. I like the fact that they added limbs being blown off. It added a lot to the dark and gritty feel of WaW.
I think this game will be great, campaign-wise at least. I'll probably buy this one used sometime next year when I'm trying to catch up on my backlog of games.
Nice info.
I <3 Bungie for their Weekly Updates.
""Things like (Modern Warfare 2's) Marathon Perk could destroy the balance of a Call of Duty 4 map.""
Balance? LMFAOOOOOO XD
I'm sorry, I didn't realize CoD was balanced.
I completely agree.
After being a casual gamer for the majority of my life, GRAW was the first shooter I bought and it was so amazing and turned me into a shooter junkie lol.
This video looks sweet. It gives a little bit of story info and shows off some features they have in store for the game. I want this game now!
I, for one, can't wait for this game.
I absolutely LOVE GRAW and GRAW2.
As was mentioned in this article, they have some TREMENDOUS explosions.
"And if you’re able to remember rounding that corner in the original Advanced Warfighter only to be flattened by the embassy blowing into a billion pieces, you’ll understand how exciting this is."
I actually remember this part. It was so loud and unexpected that I nearly sh*t myself. XD <...
Why did you bring Halo into it?
Halo's MP destroys MW2's MP any day of the week, and twice on the weekends.
Halo = balanced awesomeness.
MW2 = unbalanced mess.
I talk smack about MW2 a little bit, but then again, I've only played it a little bit. It's a fun game in small doses, but I can't play it for long because of how unbalanced it is. (I'm only referring to MP, the campaign is awesome.)
Also, I wish Robert Bowling would STFU. You're just IW's mouthpiece lapdog. Get over yourself, you asshat.
Wow, they're DOUBLING the map packs that they released for CoD4. What amazing support for their games.

Halo 3 offers the highest replayability of almost any game this gen, maybe of all time, and now Reach looks to surpass that.
It's amazing just how much Bungie is adding to what's already an incredible package with Halo 3.
Will it have the best graphics? Probably not, but that doesn't matter to me.
Will it have amazing gameplay? Indeed it will.
Will the replay value be through the roof? You bet your @ss.
I was getting extremely worried when I started reading the article. I absolutely despise Call of Duty's leveling system and how good people get things that make them that much better and are matched up against people who haven't unlocked anything.
Then I got to this part:
"In Modern Warfare 2, as a player levels up, they unlock new abilities, new weapons and other features that fundamentally change the gameplay. Someone who is level one in Modern Warfare 2 can n...
LOL, this prop is awesome. XD
I've bought a few things for my avatar...Mass Effect N7 hoodie, Mass Effect Garrus' Eyepiece and the Gears of War hat.
I don't mind buying a few things from games I really like.
Nope, I just haven't had money. ME2 was bought with money I had left from Christmas.
Heavy Rain is tops on my to buy list of games that have already released. It would be God of War III, but since I missed last console generation entirely, I never had the chance to play God of War or God of War II, hence God of War Collection being on my list as well.
Also, if you must know, I'm currently playing through inFamous for the third time (trying to get all the blast shards...
Bubbles to Agent for being a GAMER.
Between my 360 and PS3, and not having any money, I am going to have a HUGE backlog of games to buy/rent and play in the future.
I've only been able to afford ME2 so far this year, but I definitely want to get Heavy Rain, God of War Collection, God of War III, Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno. I'm probably missing some titles that have already released as well.
That said, since I have ODST, I will definitely play the hel...

the possessive form of it (used as an attributive adjective): The book has lost its jacket. I'm sorry about its being so late.
—Can be confused: it's, its.
The author makes so many mistakes that it's laughable.
Also, one game isn't going to end its opposition's existence. This article is rubbish.
Didn't EA/Dice JUST have at least two parodies of MW2?
You can be part of GH6 so Craptivision can fire you in an effort to avoid paying you royalties.
Generic?
I'd like to know how Halo is generic when it has so many unique weapons (Needler, Spiker, Spartan Laser, Plasma Rifle, Plasma Pistol, Beam Rifle, Gravity Hammer, etc) and has great air and ground based vehicular combat.
I would really like to know how Halo is generic when it offers so many great vehicles like Ghosts, Wraiths, Banshees, Warthogs, Mongooses, Scorpions, Brute Choppers, Hornets, etc) and blends them all seamlessly with the great gunplay.

Halo 3 was the top XBL for 2007, 2008 AND 2009.
2010 is going to be up in the air, but it will be between Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2 and Halo: Reach.
Please tell me how advertising keeps people playing Halo 3 two and a half years after it's release.
I would also like to know why more than 650,000 (from bungie.net) unique users have played Halo 3 in the past 24 hours considering I haven't seen a Halo 3 commercial or product since 2007, maybe early 2008. Ple...
