Great points.
I had played R6V2 co-op with a buddy, then someone else got the first one and I wanted to co-op it with them. I was extremely disappointed in R6V's co-op. We played one chapter/mission and haven't touched it since.
I've played through the campaign two or three times by myself, and it's awesome, just was disappointed in how bad co-op was.
Also, the PEC points are great. I love to toss a grenade and see "Kill using explosives" pop u...
I'm not tired of any franchise.
If I don't want to play it, I have the cognitive ability to not pay any attention to it.
The game has been in development for quite a while, so all of those user reviews must have been before Metacritic started to disallow pre-release user reviews.
LittleBigPlanet and Gears of War 2 were the main games that sparked that entire fanboy war episode. I remember when it happened too. It was pretty pathetic back then, and if the user reviews for AW are current, then it's still just as pathetic.
I'm 27, and when (if) I have kids, I'll have them gaming as early as I can and playing all kinds of games, including this.
"350 plays down to 1". WTF? That sounds so dumb.
Shortening the games? I already felt like they were pretty short.
With so many awesome games releasing this year, Madden will get skipped again.
Thank you.
People love to blindly hate Halo for no reason. If you played Halo and knew anything about it (blind haters), you would know the Covenant have all of the futuristic weapons, vehicles and aircraft.

But let me guess, it's just a plane with a crazy look to it right?
When the nuke goes off and the helo on which you're riding goes down, you come to and crawl out to see a huge mushroom cloud and the buildings disintegrate, I felt that was jaw dropping.
All Ghillied Up/One Shot, One Kill was an intense sequence. Crawling throug...
Is it bad that I thought this was going to be a list of all the glitches?
I'm a single player gamer first and foremost. There's only a few games which I play the MP component. I also like the co-operative modes, especially co-op campaign.
If you paid any attention, instead of just trolling and spouting garbage, you would know that Firefight is based on the CAMPAIGN framework, and not the MP framework. The two are completely different entities with very different coding.
This is great news. Halo 3 was an extremely polished game and hasn't had any patches for exploits or bugs since launch. I expect Reach will be the same. That said, if there are bugs, Bungie will have them fixed very quickly.
True. It still looks sweet though! I'm sure it will come in handy for several maps and gametypes.
Damn, Invasion sounds like it'll be f*cking cool.
Awesome screenshots. I cannot wait to use the jetpacks.
The crouching shield armor ability looks really cool as well.
Halo 3's stat tracking is pretty impressive.
It breaks down kills with every weapon, K/D ratio, K/D ratio on whatever map you want to check, you can go back and look at your stats for every single game there is, etc. It's insane how detailed Halo 3 is and it's mind boggling to think how much more detailed Reach's stat tracking will be.
Also, Saved Films for Halo 3 can be viewed on PC if you're a Bungie Pro subscriber. I've rendered a few MP videos, and then uploaded ...
So stay out of Halo articles, PJ. It's as simple as that.
There are plenty of other games that have been milked more than Halo, which hasn't even been milked. For anyone to even compare Halo to the Guitar Hero series is really ignorant.
GH first released in 2005, and has had about 20 releases in that time period.
Halo: CE released in 2001 and has had FIVE releases, and that's including Halo Wars, which wasn't even made by Bungie.
Seriously, ...
Killzone 2 is a great shooter. It's the reason I bought a PS3.
There are other games "that have some 8 foot armored cyborg spewing random 80s cliches as he carelessly and easily plows through three different kinds of evil alien all the while shaking the ankle biting midgets off of his heels" that are better than Killzone 2.
"Those games'" sci-fi stories are actually a lot more sci-fi driven than Killzone 2.
"Those games" in...
Yes because every Halo game has ads ran for many years after release. It couldn't be from so many liking the game and telling their friends. nope, that isn't a possibility at all.
I haven't got a Platinum in any game as of yet. The only game which I'm close is inFamous. I think I just need to beat it on Hard for that. I'll make that my fourth play-through.
As for Achievements, I only have a handful of games at 1000/1000.
Mass Effect 2
Fable 2
Bioshock
Fight Night 3
Madden 06
After I beat a game, I'll look over the Achievement/Trophy list and see if there are easy ones, and then I'll go for them. I never play a...
I just watched the trailer on Xbox today and I wasn't impressed to be honest.
I've played Killzone 2, Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2 and each is awesome in its own right. Crysis might be a bargain bin purchase for me one day, but they'll really have to show me something amazing to sway me to buy it day one or even new.
The same tired bashing of ODST is still going on.
ODST offers a lot more than other games that have released at $60.
Bioshock - Single player only, limited replay, $60.
Dead Space - Single player only, limited replay, $60.
Heavenly Sword - Single player only, limited replay, $60.
Assassin's Creed - Single player only, limited replay, $60.
God of War 3 - Single player only, limited replay, $60.
Ninja Gaiden II - Single player only, limite...
