I wonder if you'll get a message on XBL inviting you to the Reach beta...
According to IW's wikipedia, there are (were) "nearly 100" employees.
I bought Splinter Cell: Double Agent and didn't like it. Traded it in to GameStop for a horrible return. Even if I were to never pick it up again, I regret that decision. I'd rather let a game collect dust than to trade in with them again.
Games I GameFly'd and didn't finish:
Far Cry 2 - Horrible game.
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men - This was such a bummer because the trailers were phenomenal. Too bad the gameplay sucked so bad.
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of...
So you played the first one, and didn't like it, so you decided not to finish it.
Along comes the second one, and you decide to play it, only to not like it and not finish it.
Halo 3 releases, and you played it, didn't like it, didn't finish it.
At what point do you stop being dense and realize the series isn't for you and just stop bothering with the games?
You know, I bet West and Zampella did a lot of those things for which Activision is suing them, but the only quotes I need to know that they were justified in their actions is this:
"The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games." - Bobby Kotick
"really [reward] profit and nothing else" and how an air of "skepticism, pessimism, and fear&qu...
To those that had the Gears 3 announcement, were you able to click it???
I've often thought about trying to become a game tester, but I never go through with it for the simple fact that gaming is my hobby and what I do for fun. I'd hate for it to be my job, and then come home or have some downtime and absolutely despise the idea of playing another game.
Haha I was just bein' facetious.
Anytime a 360 article about RRoD pops up, you get people talkin' about their launch 360 hasn't had any problems. The early posts I read in this thread reminded me of that.
I've actually had to send in my 360 numerous times. MS has taken care of me though every single time. I was never charged though, even though the first time I think I was out of warranty (before they extended it to three years). They've compensated me with games and...
My launch Xbox 360 is still going strong with no problems at all, even after the most recent update.
Here's an idea, don't click on the articles.
Yep, Halo is about balance. Everyone starts with the same weapons and has an equal chance as anyone else to get to the power weapons.
Perks, customized load-outs, killstreaks, etc all make CoD horribly unbalanced and unfair for people who don't play it every single day and unlock everything.
I thought that Ghost Recon was THIRD person shooter, not a FIRST person shooter...
There are actually some pretty sweet tracks the community has made using Forge. Unless you use the honor system with your friends, there won't be a winner or a loser, but you can race around the track on a Mongoose or a Warthog and have a lot of fun.
If I knew how to play Chess, I would totally play this.
Bungie offers a lot of options for customizable games, so this isn't really out of the realm of possibility.
LOL, that was awesome.
I <3 Bungie.
Oh...thanks for letting me know why I bought ODST.
For some weird reason, I thought it was because I wanted to play the game.
I guess the reason I've played through the campaign at least two or three times, and put tons of hours into Firefight is because I wanted to play the Halo: Reach beta.
Silly me. Thank you for correcting me, I just wish you had done it sooner since I've been wrong for so long.
I really hate responding to this because I love both Halo 3 and Killzone 2, but seriously, how has Killzone 2 killed Halo 3?
I could get on Halo 3 and Killzone 2 simultaneously, and probably 100 out of 100 times, Halo 3 would have more players.
Hell, I could probably get on Halo 3 at an off peak time, Monday afternoon, and then get on Killzone 2 on a Friday or Saturday evening, and Halo 3's player total from Monday would be more.
Graphically, Killzone 2 is ...
Dead or Alive 4 and Ninja Gaiden II are awesome games, so I'm really interested to find out more about his next game.
If you have just a PS3, and haven't played it yet, I would get inFamous instead. It's a lot better and way more polished. I'm almost finished with my third play-through.
I bought Prototype and sold it after it beating it and getting a few other achievements. I didn't feel the need to play through it again.
Agreed.
It's so annoying when people say Halo 3 is just Halo 2 in HD.
I feel like the jump from 2 to 3 is pretty big.
