I went back and played GRAW a while back, and it was still a ton of fun. I thought the visuals still looked pretty good and the gameplay was on point.

I have a similar situation, but somewhat different.

I've heard a lot of good things about F.E.A.R. so bought it, along with F.E.A.R. 2, for pretty cheap from GameFly ($15 total for both I think). I popped it in the other night, and the graphics were pretty bad. It looked like a last gen game. I was like, &q...

I hate the "Halo is popular because of MS marketing" line I always see.

Tell me how many Halo 3 commercials you've seen in the last two and a half years?

None.

So why has Halo 3 consistently been in the top two most played game on XBL? People don't play Halo 3 two and a hlf years after release because of marketing, pal. They play it because it's fun. Halo 3 offers the most replay value of any game this gen (weekly playli...

"But for now, I’ll just go back to playing the multiplayer with lots of lag, disconnections, and people shooting me in the face because the game froze and they had five minutes to notice me aiming at them."

That's why nothing will be fixed. You continue to play it despite all of the problems you encounter on a seemingly regular basis.

You do realize Isaac is an ENGINEER and his entire existence relies on him fixing the Ishimura to survive and get the hell out of that nightmare?

I felt like the controls were perfect and the camera was awesome. To each his own though.

On topic...the box art looks cool, but it doesn't have that gritty feel that its predecessor has. The dismembered limb embodies the game and everything it's about.

I just started a new campaign in Killzone 2 yesterday. I think it's probably my third or fourth time playing the campaign.

...and I'll take Reach AND Killzone 3. Both day one purchases for me.

Isn't it great to be able to play both games and enjoy them, and not have to talk shit about other games?

Really?? Why even bring that topic up?
KZ 3 will probably be a really really spectacular game, but why even bring Halo into this?"

Because he's a fanboy and feels threatened by Halo&...

Bungie is the best because of how close they are with their fans and community.

I had only seen a little bit about inFamous, and then the demo released and I believe I bought the game day one...or at least within the first week.

I felt the demo was awesome and gave a pretty good sampling of the powers.

inFamous 2 will be awesome. I can't wait for it.

I'm sorry, but it's your own fault. If you're a gamer who frequents the net, it's pretty common knowledge that the map pack was three new maps and two CoD4 maps.

If the description was vague, maybe you should have came online and seen what people were saying about them or found a better description.

I wasn't planning on getting Black Ops immediately, but with Future Soldier delayed into next year, I may get it now sooner than I thought.

I guess it'll be a toss up between this and Medal of Honor.

You don't understand dude.

Creating a multiplayer component takes resources. Those resources could be pulled from the single player development. A game that's driven by its story and campaign could be hindered with resources taken from that development.

There are gamers that still enjoy a great single player experience and would prefer if some games stayed single player.

Long after servers are shut down for whatever reason, you can al...

Mass Effect is an RPG, and that is one genre that should stay as far away from MP as possible.

Let's also not forget the play n pause combat mechanic of the Mass Effect franchise. That would NOT translate to MP at all.

Like others have mentioned, the farthest they should go with a MP aspect is co-op, and even that's a bit of a reach since there are decisions to be made.

I was commenting about the fact that you said "well I played it lately so everything b4 isn't as good as what i played just now".

It seemed like you were inferring he only included games he recently played, when he included three games that released prior to GoW3.

I honestly can't comment on where the games rank because I've only played ME2 and am currently playing through RDR, though I do want to play HR and GoW3.

How is that the case?

Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2 and Heavy Rain all released before God of War 3.

Just because it's in your top two, doesn't mean it's in everyone's top two.

Nope.

Maybe it's because I became a hardcore gamer this gen. Prior to this gen, I was a casual gamer and missed last gen entirely, so the shooter genre is still fairly new to me.

I was excited, but the article says nothing about co-op campaign. It just says an objective based co-op mode.

That sounds similar to MW2's Spec Ops. If that's what it is, and the game doesn't at least feature two player co-op campaign, I'll be pretty disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, an objective based co-op mode would be fun, I'm sure, but Killzone 2 seemed to be built for co-op campaign and a lack of it in KZ3 would be a bummer.

Prototype was an ok game, but those Spikes from the ground were badass. The Tendrils were awesome too.

Killzone 2 is the reason I bought a PS3. It was a great reason as well. I loved the campaign so much.

I can't wait for Killzone 3.

I don't agree with charging to unlock online modes for used games, but it's $10 for all of the online features. This is $25-$50 for a single item.

That isn't even close to the same thing really.
