Or..."Roll out!!!"
I can't wait for Gears 3. First one was awesome. The second one was really good, but it had a couple cheesy parts (Giant worm...couldn't they have come up with a better term than worm?!?!) Horde is always fun as hell. I'm not much for the MP cuz I can never really get a handle on it, but I'm always willing to try it out at least.
EVERY game should have a Theater Mode like Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. Theater Mode allows you to brag with proof, or just share with your friends something awesome you did.
What's wrong with it is the fact that these games that can't be bought used, probably won't be "more awesome" than previous iterations. Nearly every single sports game is a roster update with a slight upgrade here n there. You honestly think they'll make the games so much more awesome because of this?
I usually buy the majority of my games new because I like to support the developer, but on occasion I will buy a used game to save some money and to ha...
Really? Because of advertisements? It sold incredibly at launch because of advertising, but tell me why months and years after release it continued to sell? Was it because of all of the Halo 3 commercials that aired constantly? Oh wait, there weren't any ads after a couple months.
Could it be due to word of mouth? Friends telling friends? Friends having friends over and playing? No way, that's completely impossible! I mean, after two and a half years of regularly bein...
Inside > outside.
I completely agree.
To be honest, I didn't use OtherOS, but I paid for the feature. It's the principle of the matter.
1. Halo: Reach
2. Gears of War 3
3. Killzone 3
4. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
5. Grand Theft Auto V
6. Call of Duty: Black Ops

Nearly 30 years of time invested on the first stinkin’ day! You guys give damn good Beta. Something tells me these numbers are only going to go up as the Beta hits its stride with the first full weekend of availability looming on the horizon.&qu...
1. Ugly bedspread
2. Ugly pillow that doesn't match
3. Was that whistling sound him breathing???
4. He almost broke that damn disc and now it's probably scratched and has fingerprints all over it. What a tardo. You could look at my oldest game, and you'd be hard pressed to find a fingerprint on the data side of it. He had his for four and a half minutes and it's already covered with prints lmao.

I'm loving the beta and having an absolute blast.
I hate that it doesn't tell me specific medal counts after the match. It'll show each medal I got, but not the quantities.
I also want to see who is the MVP.
I love the power of the grenades. Too many times in Halo 3 did I land a nade at someone's feet, only for them to run through it and kill me.
...is there a reason you replied to my post???
"Whereas Halo 3 was a massive-budget, hyped title that introduces nothing new to gameplay and yet fails to deliver more than average graphics"
Maybe not to the Halo formula, but show me another game this gen that is as feature packed as Halo 3.
Single player campaign
Four player co-op campaign
Multiplayer
Forge (community does tremendous things with this)

As a big Halo fan, and someone who regularly shaves all my hair off, I would LOVE to have those.
As a fan of not only the Halo games, but the studio behind them, I am absolutely sick to my stomach right now.
Bungie is a studio that cares about its fans and the gaming community. Activision is the opposite. This is horrible news. I feel like I just lost a friend...
Each CoD game has two years of dev time.
I'm looking forward to TA's next CoD game. I liked the grittiness of WaW, and want to see how Vietnam (rumored) will fare. It probably won't be a day one purchase, but I will definitely try to get it eventually, most likely used.
Awesome commercial.
A live action Halo movie would be incredibly badass.
inFamous is an awesome game and Cole is a badass.
Few? It seems all gamers on the internet want Shenmue. That's a lot of people!
Halo: Reach beta access has been a selling point of ODST since before it launched. I'm almost certain that at E3 last year, they stated as much.
Besides, if people buy it for beta access, and don't play the game, that's their fault. It isn't like MS is saying "we have a beta soon, pay $40 for it". You still get a great game with a lot of replay value. If you don't like the game, trade it in after the beta. You can still get back some of your money.
No Mass Effect? The end to that is just amazingly epic and left me wanting Mass Effect 2 so much.
