That's pretty f*cking crazy. I had never heard of this stuff.
Thanks to both of you guys for the info. Pretty good stuff.
Loved the first inFamous, played through it three times and will play it a fourth eventually.
Does he have new powers that aren't electricity based (I thought I saw ice in the trailer)? If so, it'll be interesting to see how they explain that.
No matter, I'm excited for this game and will get it day one.
Halo: Reach
Killzone 3
Gears of War 3
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Dead Space 2
inFamous 2
No thanks.
Just sell me the campaign separately for $30 and you can do whatever you want with the MP portion since I rarely take CoD games online.
If it's implemented with Black Ops, I'll just buy a used/cheap copy and play the campaign, because that looks to be pretty good.
Complaining about a space fight in a space themed game...stupid much?
I think this looks awesome. Across all four Halo games (Halo:Ce, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST), there is always great vehicular gameplay, whether it's land based or in the air. They're always great fun too with each vehicle handling perfectly.
Thanks, but no thanks.
I can only imagine Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan (alcoholic anklet sensor and all) and Miley Cyrus giving upskirt shots to Milo.
My main concern is that it flat out looks like it will suck.
The menu navigation didn't seem fluid at all. It's so much more efficient to just analog stick through everything.
All the games looked horrible. I honestly can't recall one single Kinect game that appealed to me.
I've been wanting a new Ghost Recon game, and this can't come soon enough. It looks awesome.
Exactly what nightfall said.
I think it's pretty well-known that Major Nelson is a gamer and plays PS3 as well.
EDIT
@mushroomwig
I'm pretty sure I stated that he was in character, which means I understand the point of him.
I don't think they announced a release date for it, but I'm assuming it's next year probably.
I am going to be so broke...too many games are releasing early. It's gonna be hard to buy them all, but inFamous 2 is near the top of my list. The first one is so awesome and I can't wait to see how Sucker Punch will improve the second one.
I don't condone Aaron Greenberg's or Turn 10's actions and comments either.
To be honest, it'd be nice if the majority of these toolbags would just shut up.
I like his character in the commercials, but that seems really unprofessional. Sure he might be staying in character, but as the face of Playstation 3, he should show a little humility.
Major Nelson is the face and voice of Xbox Live, and he's a class act. Yeah he's the face of Xbox Live, but I can't recall him acting like a total dick. KB should takes notes.
Holy bejeezus!
:-|
That Hunter looks badass!
Completely agree.
I'll take four player co-op campaign, Forge, Theater and Firefight any day over none of those features with better graphics.
As awesome as this generation has been with so many great games, it's been tarnished by fanboys and pixel counting.
Who fucking cares what the resolution is? Halo 3 still looks awesome.
...and before anyone chimes in with other games, I've played the majority of the graphic...
This Halo is a darker and grittier Halo than previous iterations.
The game's tagline is "from the beginning you know the end", which refers to the fall of the planet Reach. It's a dark and gritty storyline with an ending that everyone knows will be bleak (the planet gets glassed by the Covenant).
It's ok, but it doesn't stand out nearly as much as Killzone 2's.
I liked the simplicity of KZ2's cover. The menacing, glowing Helghast eyes cover is just sweet.
Killzone 2 depicted war amazingly, and seeing this cover just feels like a contrast to that. In the end, it is just a cover and you don't play the cover so it doesn't really matter to me.
I can't say if Reach will be the GOTY, but it will probably be MY most played game for a long time after it releases.
No game has matched Halo 3's features or replayability yet, but it looks as if Reach will do that.
Firefight in ODST is awesome, but lacked the customization and match making. From the sounds of this preview, they're going all out.
I can't wait!
I really hate how Nintendo and the Wii have pretty much forced the industry to move towards the motion control cash grab.
I really felt diskinected from MicroSoft's press conference. No new game announcements except Kinect stuff.
I'm a huge sports fan, but I don't know how much I'll honestly use ESPN on my 360. Probably as much as I use Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM which is hardly at all.
I already knew I wanted Halo: Reach a...
Criticizing someone else's gaming preferences is pretty immature as well, pal.
