We have all been very patient but really it is not us who are worst affected by this. I really feel for the developers and publishers who flog their wares through the store, they have potentially lost millions of dollars of revenue.
So if anyone should be complaining its them.
@Scrotie
bubbles just for that name lol :-)
I have a decent rig that I built in 2007 which still runs most games on high settings all I've done since then is up grade the gfx card from an 8800gt to a gtx460.
There are a few areas where console gaming is better, more convenient for most, cheaper to get in to at the beginning, much simpler and consistent.
I personally play on my PC and PS3 in equal measure, both have strengths and weaknesses.
You really don't have to pay thousands for a gaming pc, you pay ...
Wipeout Pulse and Pure too, both are better than Wipeout HD!
And Killzone Liberation would make an awesome twin stick shooter on PS3.
Tbh it would be a stupid idea, kinda defeats the purpose of a hand held device if you have to sit it down to play it with your magic wand. I can see that working well on the train, as dodgy Dave runs away with your NGP while you play.
@NewZealander.
As an owner of all of those games, I would have to strongly recommend Wipeout and Dead Nation. Just my opinion but they are both amazing games, far better than a lot of full priced releases!
Most of my favorite games this gen have received what most sheeple nowadays would consider a low score. Review scoring these days is totally broken.
Good choices, kinda expected WarHawk though to drum up some more interest for StarHawk.
Personally I've got all of these (except Mod Nation PSP which I will be getting thank you) but I'm not bothered, I'm just glad to have it back and have my PS+ extended by 60 days free!
And to anyone who hasn't got Dead Nation yet, WHY? And now you have no excuse, it is awesome!
Folklore is awesome! I traded it in a long long time ago and I really wish I hadn't. I never did finish it properly and now I can't find it anywhere :-(
@Dloc
Most folks outside of the US have no idea who Emmett Smith is though. I had to google him after you mentioned him (I'm in UK).
I perhaps wouldn't say they are just 360 fanboys. But its definitely nothing to do with other OS, its a vendetta against Sony, pure and simple. I just wish they would attack Sony in other ways that don't effect gamers! Seriously, leave us alone, go and mess about with Sony music or something and leave gamers in peace!
It's gonna be worse this way than if it happened during or after E3. With this happening before E3 people are gonna be waiting to dump on Sony all through it, I just hope they get it up and running asap and pull some awesome shit out the bag at E3 to make up for it.
Have to admit, I don't think I've ever met anyone called Emmett in my life. You do have one of the most awesome namesakes though, Doc Emmett Brown, the guys a genius :-)
@Hawk
Lmao, bubbles to you lol.
I'm sorry, I know others have said things about it before, but I just can't take this game seriously with that ridiculous name!
Not wanting to sound too much like a geek but I loved the original Battle Chess, it was too funny watching Knights slice people up lol
It's no different from a credit card company in that respect. CC companies charge a fee to the seller too, that's why some smaller companies will charge the consumer more if they are paying with a credit card, and even some large companies, IKEA being a prime example.
@M-Easy, I have to agree with you there. I absolutely love UC2 and totally appreciate that technicaly it is far superior to the first game. But I just loved the first game so much more, I've re-played it umpteen times, whereas I've only replayed the second 2-3 times.
I'm gonna hazard a guess that English is not his first language.
I got it for peanuts on Steam, and played it maxed out in DX11.
And it still sucked.
