You know what, the worst of this is? The fact that I haven't actually seen any PS3 "fanboys" complaining about BF3. Most agree that while it certainly doesn't look quite as good as the PC version, it still looks awesome! It seems to me that all I've seen is bs articles from no name sites saying that PS3 gamers are not happy, when most of us are perfectly happy!

I dont have my original 60gb anymore, but I do still have a 60gb. The original one died after about 2 years, Sony replaced it free of charge and the replacement is still going strong.
Logitech laser G9 for me. I tried every mouse in the shop and that was by far the best one, and 4 years later there is still nothing to better it, imho obviously.

Actually, its the developers holding themselves back. Why don't they make PC the lead platform and then scale back the console versions as required? That is what DICE are clearly doing and hopefully now that they have it will open the gates to more devs doing the same. And only when that starts to happen will console manufacturers sit back and think "hmmm... maybe we need to get some new hardware out sooner than later.

I thought it looked awesome! I really didn't expect the console version to look that good, I couldn't believe it when I came on here and saw people complaining! Seriously!? It's amazing the sudden influx of PC tech heads, as if this site wasnt bad enough with PS3 Vs 360, now we have PC fanboys crapping on both consoles.
Seriously though, if you have a gaming PC why do you even care about the PS3 version, unless you are just a troll. And if you are a console only owner, then just accept that the PC has prettier games, but 9/10 times they run like shit cause they are just un optimized console ports and people don't know how to set up their own PC ...
Let's see how it runs on a PC that cost £400 quid to build 5 years ago, which is what my PS3 cost 5 years ago, cause I'll guarantee it won't look anywhere near the PS3 version.
My PC cost me £1300 to build in 2007 and I reckon it'll look better than the PS3 version. But value for money, the console version wins hands down.

It does look like a well sweet deal, my TV is getting old now and I was thinking of a 3D one.
My only bug bear here is that I do wish it was at least 32", maybe they'll add larger screens if its a success. But at that price, even at 24" its looking like it'll be on my stand soon.
It does look like it could be great, can't wait to see some gameplay, but the concept seems good and I liked the characters. I love Insomniac and have faith that the game will be great.
I am loving the game my only complaint is that its far too easy, the rally stages are pretty much just flat out all the way. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty, all aids off etc and I've only had to re-try one race to get top spot! Other than the difficulty though, it is awesome.

I really think they should have made WarHawk one of the free gifts, it would have been excellent marketing for StarHawk, but hey, since when have Sony been very good at marketing?
True the sound, graphics and atmosphere were all excellent, but the gameplay was very flawed. And its been said before and it will be again, awesome graphics without awesome gameplay still = broken game.
They may have reached the limit as far as graphics go, but there is still plenty of potential left for creativity and new games. It really isn't just about graphics, some of my favorite games this gen have had some of the worst graphics this gen lol.
