They are actually good PC's too, they are just ridiculously over priced.
How about this:
If you have both consoles, buy them both cause they're both great games.
If you only have one or the other, then your choice is made, simples.
Love JC2, my friend is actually completely addicted to it, he plays it every day! He actually thinks he lives in Panau!
My PSU cost more than that PC. (1100w PC power and cooling job, its like a mini reactor lol)
I agree with you, my PC can run pretty much everything so far at high settings and above, and most of the time the only advantage over consoles is AA and slightly higher fps.
A lot of games run like shit on the PC before you fart about with settings and tbh I just cant be bothered with it anymore. I nowadays only use my PC for Steam sales so I can get games that I kinda wanted but was never gonna pay full price for.
Console gaming is just so much easier for lazy people like me...
Its not that they arent letting Steam, Steam just dont want to.
No way! Steve Fox is awesome, one of my favorite characters.
Get a decent gaming mouse and you can adjust the sensitivity on the fly. I have a logitech laser G9 which has loads of different settings available. You really should get a proper gaming mouse anyway, you need a good 5 button mouse for gaming.
@substance, you are spot on but controllers are fine for single player fps' on PC. Just don't try and use it online, you will get pwned. No matter how good you think you are at fps with a controller, you will get your ass handed to you by people with m&k.
I'm 30, and some may say I'm odd but its nothing to do with my gaming habits ;-)
Get rid of the medal system, its a bit rubbish. Other than that the game is awesome.
I think you'll find that back in 2005 when the 360 launched 512mb of ram was way more than enough! Plus ram was a lot more expensive back then too it would have made the console too expensive. RAM is cheap as chips nowadays though so I would expect the next gen of consoles to be packing at least 4gb which for a single purpose machine is easily enough for another 5 years. People have to remember that the 360 and PS3 are both pretty damn old in console terms, no other console gen has lasted...
You missed out rezzah, the multiplayer was the only bit I did like! The SP was just the usual army grunt rubbish.
Totally agree, if it had been released as a budget title like it should've been then it would have been much better received. I do want to get it as I have been a fan of Duke Nukem since the old 2d platformers, but even I was never intending to get it until the price dropped regardless of review scores.
It does look good, but as a general rule I hate f2p games cause they're just a freakin scam. No you don't HAVE to buy anything in game, but of course you're going to have to if you want to actually get any joy out the game. I just don't like the concept and thus will never play any f2p games. Free to play, but you have to pay to enjoy.
I love all of Id's work and have been a fan since the beginning (Commander Keen FTW) but I was worried Rage might just be a slightly prettier Borderlands. So far though it looks pretty awesome.
Here is why the rest of the world thinks what they think about Americans. You guys really don't help yourselves much.

A wide on ;-)
Please be true indeed, Jak 2 is one of my all time favorites. Even just an HD remake of that would make me very happy indeed :-)
Damn, I might have bought SOCOM had I known! Where was I when that info was released!?
The guy sucks, but the game looks awesome, can't wait.
