It definitely isn't just capitalising on AR, It's captivating a generation (and others of course) of people who grew up and grew out of the game. It's nostalgia at its finest!

I'd suggest they try it themselves but I feel they would shrivel up in the sun, they also might explode when put in social situations..

Hatch 10k eggs maybe?

Yep, the exact same statements were made when the Playstation/Xbox servers were hacked over the Christmas period. They said that they should get off their games and do stuff, whilst ironically they were sitting at their computers doing the exact same thing.

They are just jealous of other people having a good time and rather than getting on board they want to spoil it for everyone, it's pathetic.

"Playstation has always dominated when it comes to consoles and even though ps3 didnt dominate it did well"

Sorry, I don't mean to troll but that statement just made me laugh!

On subject, there is not really any way the Xbox One will get ahead of the PS4 now. Both consoles are great but the initial stumble/fall of the Xbox One was enough to give the PS4 the edge not only with customers but with developers too, they know the player base on th...

Will you also require a heavy duty rig to carry your PC, monitor and an external powerpack? Or I missing something here?

Edit: Okay, so I just heard about these new devices called laptops, I hear they are mobile! (seriously why did I not think of them...)

Damn them! Damn them for trying to do something original with the setting of their game!

They launched their demo after P.T though.. and they've gone on to say that the demo wont be a true representation of the final product.

Gamescom 2014 - P.T announced with a playable demo going live at the time of announcement, the demo is a set in a house, very slow and tense, 100% focused on horror. Announced after that the demo wasn't a true representation of the final product, just a very clever way of presenting it.

E3 2016 - Just replace P.T...

You take an amazingly well received concept, copy it and release it a couple of years later and you're gonna have good success!

I don't wanna discredit Capcom on this, the demo was great, not RE in anyway, but still great. However it was pretty much a carbon copy of the P.T/Silent Hills announcement.

As we will never see what Silent Hills was going to be I am quite excited by the potential of RE7 but as they said the main game may not follow on t...

For me probably Neo, then I will just get a new graphics card for my Xbox needs. It depends though, I am very interested to see what sort of results they can get out of such a powerful console.

My GTX 970 can run games at 1080p/60 with upgraded visuals. It has around 4.2 tf, so they'll definitely be able to do more with the Scorpio.. All these posts are getting ridiculous now, people forget that power distribution seems to be different on consoles than PC.

The Xbox one at 1.3 tb can get close to the visuals of my 4.2 tb desktop.

Cost and gaming habits will dictate a lot, for example I play all my consoles at my PC desk (the wife has the TV...) I already have a powerful gaming PC and for me buying a GTX1080 will probably be cheaper than buying the Scorpio and it wont change my environment at all.

However I know a lot of people who don't want to be sitting at a desk to play their games, they like couch play. As soon as you invest in a 4K gaming machine, you also need to invest in a 4K monitor. Al...

At the end of the day (not always!) an Xbox One and probably the Scorpio too will be cheaper than buying a gaming PC, also it's less hassle when it comes to installing games, fixing issues etc.

The average console consumer isn't going to rush out and buy a gaming PC now that Microsoft have announced a 4K machine... they're going to be excited to have that kind of power in their living room come fall next year.

The same goes for the exclusive...

Few of my PS4 buddies have already decided to grab an Xbox One based on the slim announcement so I don't think this article is quite true! Admittedly one them is buying the Slim purely for the 4K Ultra Bluray!

@nowitzki2004

None, but they are doing a free update to PC owners who have purchased the game+dlc (and generally speaking that is cheaper) it would only seem fair to honour the console players with the same luxury.

A few have done cheaper versions if you have the original which is a nice touch, I think Minecraft and Dishonoured did that.

My mistake, I didn't know that.

It should be free for anyone with the digital game+dlc on the MS/Sony store for sure!

It will still be interesting come next year to see what happens with third party games like CoD etc, will they just tone down the graphics/resolution on the Scorpio to match the Neo or will they just get the highest they can out of both independently?
