Agreed, I can't help but feel like the initial leaker actually helped out the team a lot. I know he got a lot of crap for it all but he basically beta tested the game for us and probably instigated some of the changes that were made for the day one patch.

The problem with NMS is (and I am super excited for it, pre-ordered etc) that it should not have been a full price game, Hello Games are not a AAA developer, this game got way too much hype because it was pushed so heavily by Sony. Even Sean himself said that the hype was just like a train (hype-train of course), it was none stop all they could do was keep adding fuel to it or jump off.

It's an Xbox Play Anywhere game, is it really that hard for people to understand that? (hell the damn picture that's uploaded with the ****post says that). The keyword is Xbox, it's not a PC Play Anywhere game. You can't buy Gears of War 4 on PC because it's an Xbox One game, you can however buy it on the Xbox store and play it on your PC if you so wish.

I don't see MS trying to monopolise the PC market at all. What I see is that MS have realised that they aren't going to be beating Sony anytime soon in the console race and this is shown very obviously in their sales. So they are trying to generate more revenue by simultaneously releasing their first party games onto Windows 10. In regards to the Xbox One sales it's more than likely it's due to the the announcement of the Xbox One S... I mean, if you wanted to buy a TV/Phone etc but were aware that in a couple of months time an upgraded one was coming out you'd surely hold out. It's also a very cheap 4K Ultra Bluray so it will be interesting to see how the sales are.
I'm not saying the game will be bad but it's definitely the end of MGS as we know it, they'll just ride on the name as long as they can now.
