I do not like the new PS4 design at all, it has lost the symmetry of the original and just looks squished.
The PS4 Pro, undecided. It's much nicer than the new PS4 that's for sure but I am not sure I like the 3 levels, I feel they missed the mark a little this time around, the PS4 was beautiful when it launched no questions asked!
Does it work well on Android?
Yeah, this exactly. I thought EA published games all went onto the EA access scheme, pretty sure that's how it was advertised!
The service was offered across the board, if manufacturers didn't want to adopt it that was their choice.
@BurnEsauX - The hype for Recore is considerably lower than NMS, considerably - I have an Xbox One and I don't really know anything about it!
I definitely wouldn't say it's getting hyped as a AAA, I just think it's a bad example to use, it's at a lower price point, it's not been given anywhere near the marketing of NMS and it's actually being published by Microsoft Studios....
NMS was published and developed by Hello Games, tot...
@BurnEsauX Use No Mans Sky then, it's a much better example of a current game that shouldn't have released at a AAA price point, Recore is about 35/40% cheaper than No Mans Sky and it hasn't been released yet so it's not fair to judge it at this point!
Yeah, nothing I enjoy more than paying £70/80 for a remaster!
@BurnEsauX - It's true, it's a bad sign when an early access game is given DLC before it leaves the early access program, quite frankly Steam should just say "no, if you want to add DLC, fine, but if it's during early access it's just a free update and is part of your core game"
This is the problem with DLC, it should be an afterthought, fair enough whilst planning and developing you'll have ideas that could potentially be added to your game th...
Totally agree, if they have enough time and resources to work on expansions before they actually finish and release the main game then their priorities are really messed up!
Basically what I was going to type, game play will remain the same. Games will still have to run well on the current models too.
As far I remember this was the first year-long (longer in this case) exclusive deal? One month isn't such a big deal but this year/2 year thing is a bit ridiculous to be honest.
But why remove it at all? I never get choices like that!
Do we know if this one supports 5ghz wifi?
Yeah man, it doesn't like my setup! Crashes to desktop pretty regularly too :/
Shame they haven't done much else for PC optimisation, I'm running on a mixture of medium/high settings with some of the fancier settings off at 1080p and I get between 40-60fps although I get random spikes of low performance. I have disabled MSAA and I have AA at x2. Running it on an i7 4790k @4.4, 16GB 2400 RAM and a GTX970 overclocked a little bit.
It's definitely playable but it's a bit frustrating when I can run games like the Witcher 3 at mostly Ultra ...
For 3 years Sony enthusiast were preaching "power does matter" and "the PS4 is the most powerful console".
Now they are saying "It's not about power, it's about the games"
I love both consoles and have frequented here very often this generation, so it's just very frustrating to see how much negative feedback Microsoft gets. They had a damn big stumble at the Xbox One announcement but they've certainly paid fo...
What I don't get, Microsoft announce a new (much needed) slim console and a new tremendously powerful console and all the articles that seem to be approved are pretty negative.
A leak comes in regards to a slim PS4, which quite honestly wasn't needed, and all I see are positive articles about it and how much sense it makes for Sony to release the Slim and the upcoming Neo.
I guess it just comes down to more people posting articles for the subjects...
"Infinity Ward has a massive track record to produce a multiplayer experience that players can enjoy and still come back to play even when the next Call of Duty title is out. After the let down from Ghosts, I cannot see Infinity Ward releasing another mediocre multiplayer experience"
Ghosts was the first game by the Infinity Ward that exists at present.. West and Zampella were fired in 2010 and Sledgehammer games helped finish off production of MW3, which was when...
You realise you don't HAVE to buy a onesie to play Xbox One right?!!
So it's world wide release of the 23rd August is more accurately the 24th now.. Fortunately I decided to get a bit more sleep than get up early this morning as it's not out in the UK until 5pm.
I don't really understand how you could play it digitally on PS4 and XB1 at midnight yet on Steam you have to wait another 17 hours...
I'd quite like to see 2 subscription offers to be honest, one for online and one at a higher premium for the instant games too - because to be quite honest I haven't even touched an instant game in over a year.. yet still pay purely for online play...
The Scorpio without a doubt.. software is a different ball-park but the Scorpio will be the better machine, this is almost a certainty.
