I really hope there isn't a PS3 slim on the way. I really think the PS3 needs to find it's identity with the mass consumer and a new designed SKU will hurt that. But anyone on the fence about getting a PS3, there is no longer an excuse. Go out there and get the console. It is worth it. This bundle will sellout by the Wednesday.
I'm not as familiar with Skype but can you do group/party chat using the service?
You know I'm one of those who really hope there isn't a PS3 Slim on the way. In 3 years there have been so many SKUs. I really feel like the PS3 doesn't have an identity. To introduce a all new designed SKU just adds to the confusion. The PS3 needs to find its identity with the mass consumer.
I doubt it. It's Microsoft. Games for Windows is their platform. I think they want to keep the focus on the console version to encourage console sales. Alan Wake is going to be one of the XBox 360's must have titles. This is what Microsoft does. They keep the focus on the console version of titles and then release the games later on the PC.
It came out at a horrid time. In October when the game was released, I bought Fable 2 and Fifa 2009, the following month I bought Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty World at War and Gears of War 2. I eventually bought the game but I bought it from Gamefly after renting it which counts as a used game.
I think I'll try it. It's not like you have to play a previous Forza game to enjoy it. It's looking pretty good.
Me too. I really want to participate in the Beta. Just to get use to how the battles flow and the UI which looks like a cluster f*@$ but one you get used to it, it should be fine.
The truth is, Rockstar knows that a full GTA title will generate more revenue and media coverage than DLC. It just doesn't make sense to do any more DLC.
I literally spit up my drink reading that comment. Absolute lunacy. Fanboys are so funny; unintentionally or not.
Jesus, you're an idiot. Did you even read the article?
Agreed. Read the first paragraph and just shook my head. Didn't even bother to follow the link to the article.
From what's been shown of the game, it's graphically underwhelming. The tech seems dated but more than anything else, the animations, shadows and dynamic lighting were piss poor. I don't think the long delay has helped the project. Had it been released in 2007 it would have made more of a positive impact but in 2009, it seems mediocre at best.
The spell check feature is there for a reason. Use it.
It's shaping up to be a fantastic game.
*Edit* Nice to see I have a couple emo fantards to disagree with me. SMH!
I enjoyed watching I Am Legend on my way home on my PSP as much as I did on my HD television. At some point we have to be able to enjoy and appreciate art direction and content. Heavenly Sword was a beautiful game, it didn't even run at native 720p.
HD gaming, what a farce.
The majority of Wii console owners don't care about HD graphics. If they did, they would not have bought a Wii console. They wont upgrade to another Wii console just because it has HD graphics either and Nintendo knows this. For all the shovel ware on the console many are success because they cost so little to produce.
Pachter needs to take a Shut the f*@& up pill. He's never been right about anything.
Same here. If I get my hair cut or trim my goatee or beard, I change my avatar.
