Sadly, it's probably unlikely. The betas for Modern Warfare and World at War were both exclusive to the XBox 360. I do hope the PS3 gets the opportunity to host the beta as well.
That's what I'm afraid of. You've seen developers use installs on the PS3 as a crutch but with no mandatory installs, developers are still forced the make sure the experience is the same for everyone because even someone with a harddrive may not want to install a game and shouldn't be disadvantaged.
$400 Euros for the current PS3?! Is that the 160 GB model because that's like $500US.
I think you're going to see more developers do this. Installs wont be mandatory but you'll see games optimized for install.
Rocksteady really may have delivered a triple A title. I shook my head when they made those claims but if the scores remain consistent, this may be on of the best games this year.
Wait what?? The Xbox 360's lead at the PS3's launch in NA was less than 3.5 million and has almost tripled since?!
But there are games that run in sub-HD resolutions on that system as well.
Halo 3's normal difficulty was really easy to be honest. It made the came more accessible to newcomers but the Heroic and Legendary difficulties is really where the AI shines.
Is there really that big a disparity in North America and the United Kingdom between the PS3 and XBox 360?? I also find it hard to believe that the disparity between the number the console makers report shipped to retailers and the actual number of consoles sold to consumers differ that greatly.
Great vid. Really shaping up to be a great game.
I was thinking the same thing. A release of a retail disk with both downloadable episodes will be released on October 30.
Anyone interested in this game? Seriously?
Great news that the game is still in development. It had become vaporware at this point but it was one of the games I was looking forward to on PS3. I am on of those people who believe that a single platform focus makes for great games. Look at what we've seen recently of Infamous and Uncharted 2 on the PS3 and what we've seen of Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake.
1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (XBox 360)
2. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
3. Halo ODST (XBox 360)
4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)
5. Forza Motorsport 3 (XBox 360)
Those will be the top 5 games sales wise come fall. My predictions are based solely on confirmed releases. To be quite honest, I don't see great sales of Uncharted 2. This is strictly looking at how recent PS3 exclusives like LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Infam...
Who didn't see this coming?
Who's really surprised by this?
You're absolutely, horrendously incorrect.
Played the demo on PS3 at Gamestop a few weeks ago. It's a bit of a button masher. I don't know if you can unlock new combos as you progress. It seems like it could have some depth but it's accessible for a casual gamer who wants to mash buttons. What this usually means is a very shallow combat experience.
You have to hand it to Sony. They truly have invested in quality software. I really hope in time consumers embraced the great offerings. This is a really great game.
You're a major douche and an idiot. Chair has stated the game would take 10 to 12 hours to complete the game, meaning 100% complete, as they admit the game can be completed in under 2 hours by evidence of the achievement. If it takes 4 to 5 hours to complete the games with 40% to 50%, by simple math, the game would take 10 hours to complete 100% wouldn't it? Did you even read the article?!
