I only realized recently that Forza was better reviewed last gen than Grand Turismo 4. I didn't even realize that Forza has consistently been a quality franchise.
Forza 3 will be my first Forza game. I'm really looking forward to this game.
Say what you want about this guy but he's smart, he knows the industry, he's a fan of games and he truly respects his audience. He's really just an enthusiastic guy.
I agree. I don't see why I have to buy the game from Gamestop to get access to content. I do not purchase games at Gamestop. Why should I be forced to just the enjoy the full experience of a game.
There were 300K people playing Halo 3 this evening. Halo is a phenomenon I respect. I don't understand it but you have to respect the pop culture phenomenon Halo has become.
I mean, they'll come. The wait might kill us but I only got Yakuza 2 on the PS2 last year. The game is so large in scale the localization is an arduous process. Imagine localizing GTAIV for Japan; it would be a task.
The more I see of this game, the more convinced I am I'm going to buy it on day 1. I really think the additions make for a full sequel and not Left 4 Dead 1.5.
Yep. It's the front runner for game of the year. They addressed the biggest weakness of the first game; content.
God I can't wait for this game! Give us a release date already.
I'm surprised Glen left. Visceral was his life. He was really glad for the studio to have its own identity and was looking forward to showcasing the new titles coming from the studio. He was in the recently on Gametrailers TV talking about the name change and new projects like Dante's Inferno.
I went online on Halo last night and there were 280K people playing the game. That's more than 100K more than COD4 and World at War combined in the same half hour. I couldn't believe it.
Only 1 2009 release has sold over 1 million copies in North America in 2009 to date and that's Resident Evil 5 on the XBox 360. Sales overall have been disappointing. Killzone 2 has done very well all things considered.
I guess I'll echo everyone else. I enjoyed the first game. There were some poor design choices but the game was enjoyable. Hopefully the second is better polished, better designed and better paced. It seems like that game only got entertaining in the final third.
I was playing Killzone 2 the other night and there were only a sparse number of games. I changed my search criteria to worldwide, any gametype, any rank and the options were still sparse. Not many people are playing the game. I ended up playing a game with players who spoke only Chinese.
Treyach has done a fantastic job with the maps in World at War. If they only did a better job of balancing the weapons, the multiplayer would be fantastic. Nazi Zombies was an amazing addition.
I'm not bragging about anything. The article supposes PS3 gamers in the month of June chose Infamous or Prototype and gave no consideration to the fact the some gamers bought both. If we're going to make assumptions lets suppose that the 190,000 persons who bought Infamous in May bought Prototype in June. Or speculate that Infamous even being exclusive didn't resonate with fans on the console as it almost evenly split sales with Prototype at 192K and 191K respectively. We can make supposition...
This article makes no sense and really is stupid. It makes no consideration for the fact that their are PS3 owners who bought both! Yes, there are PS3 owners who actually buy games. Even if you combined the sales of both Infamous and Prototype on the PS3 saying gamers chose one or the other, Prototype on the Xbox 360 still outsold both games on the PS3 by 30K plus. The article, its premise and title, makes no sense.
That was pretty freaking Epic.
I'm not expecting much from the single player DLC but it could turn out to be substantial and enjoyable.
Take Two themselves said the game wouldn't be releasing in 2009. The is just a date assigned by a retailer without any confirmation. As high profile as this game is being billed, there would be a lot more media and hands-on with the title if it was being released in a couple months.
