you're right, nobody can argue that the wii has 2 or 3 good titles. and if i was going to buy any console for just a couple games, i'd definitely buy the cheapest. but most gamers buy systems so they can play many games, not so they can brag about that console they own but never get to play cuz it doesn't have any entertaining software to accompany it.

it wasn't a mistake. it was a calculated move. and a very smart one. nintendo saw that the majority of you are retarded and do whatever tv tells you. so they just had really good marketing. i'm not faulting them for good marketing. i'm faulting them because i always looked to nintendo to set the new standards in gaming and instead they sold gaming down the river in favor of big profits and crappy merchandise. i expect that from microsoft and sony, not from nintendo.
sony made their system to be the end all next gen home entertainment blah blah blah. first game did a good job with setting mood, and the voice acting was top notch! but the graphics were pretty average and the AI was terrible. Hopefully they've moved onto a new graphics engine.

more people in multi player does NOT make a game better. Gears was made to have quick, close quarters conflict. They would have to dramatically improve the match making system to have more ppl playing too. But more is not better, like in the case of that ridiculously terrible title on the ps3 (Resistance). pretty funny how things are turning around. a little behind schedule though. i said everyone would realized COD was a garbage game by the end of february. I was off by about a month but it's still becoming more and more obvious when i turn on my 360 and fewer ppl are playing COD each day. the game is a joke, the graphics engine is a joke, and the die hard fans of the game are the biggest joke of all.
