This is the same stupid crap sony pull with Blu Ray and everyone bought it. no xbox fans read or care about this article, so not sure why you're attacking 360 fans. as for graphics, this game blew, as for quality, this game blew, as for everything else, this game blew. and who wants 20 vs 20?? way too many for a standard FPS multiplayer. more doesn't mean better.

I don't see anything mind blowing about these graphics. and the gameplay is just button mashing. just finished the demo and now i can safely say i will NOT be buying this game. I don't need to put a game in the console to pound the same 2 buttons repeatedly. Oh yeah, and since everyone decided to mention uncharted, just like to add the character models blow in that game. The new graphics powerhouses will be Bad Company and FarCry 2.
saddest part is, this game looks and plays better than Call of Duty 4.
if you read everything i said, you would have seen that i don't play either game anymore. i support games for quality, not hype, not support. personally i think we should all have much higher expectations for this generation. i'm not saying halo is GREAT....i'm saying it's superior to this last gen game. Until Bad Company comes out, i don't think any FPS has been worthy of this generation or can even sort of compete with a game like Crysis. Hopefully Bad Company gives us what it promises...

maybe you can explain to me how being able to run and jump around really fast like an arcade style shooter (Halo, Unreal, etc...), but then suddenly pull up and aim and shoot one or two bullets and kill a guy (Counter Strike, Rainbow 6) constitutes better gameplay??? COD seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. On one hand, it thinks it's a realistic shooter, on the other, it thinks it's an arcade game.

i really get sick of ppl saying Halo 3 sucks cuz it's just Halo 2 with better graphics and more guns. That is exactly what it was supposed to be. looks like a very exciting game, but definitely not game of the year material. just a game that will sell well and be fun to play with friends...which is what we should all be worrying about anyway. who cares about awards and achievements...just enjoy yourself.

and PS "exclusives" eventually come to the xbox where the company that produced it realized it can make more money and eventually playstation loses most of its "exclusives" (DMC 4, GTA IV, etc...)
unless they have dedicated servers to handle 60 player competative, this will run like straight anus. also, they are cranking this game out too fast to have revamped the graphics engine much so it's going to look just as crappy as the first. and last, 8 player co-op seems like over kill for an FPS, almost like sony went to them and said "okay we must out-do halo 3." so they went along with it but i can't imagine the experience being as good with that many ppl.

Not impressed. i haven't played much halo in the last 2 months but i see nothing that sets these guys apart. they spam grenades at close range and half the time damage themselves as much as they are killing their opponent. the only thing that was impressive was his battle rifle from a long distance. however, shooting people from a distance while they are fighting doesn't really make you a good player, it makes you a pansy.

Did anyone notice that aside from getting shot over and over in those shooters, he also wasn't really playing the guitar in guitar hero?

actually xbox 360 sold better than xbox and has expanded it's base. not sure what planet you are living on, but last i checked, people still buy ps2. so i would say not only has ps3 not expanded, it's actually contracted.
