it's exclusive in the console competition. microsoft makes money if it comes to PC as well. why would they compete with themselves? It's exclusive to microsoft, not specifically to the 360. but within just the consoles it's exclusive to 360.

i'm so sick of these flamer articles. every week i see like 10 of these. sony is king, sony sucks. 360 is king, 360 sucks. get over it!!! as long as you are enjoying your system who cares what these "analysts" think.
The only losers are the fanboys...which i imagine is everyone else who commented on this article. i didn't look but i think it's safe to assume 2/3 of the comments here are about why sony is god and everything they touch turns to gold and MS should be called...
why 4 years? why not do it every 5 so companies can announce the new system launches?

hey canadian, it has nothin to do with fanboys, just 360 owners who've had a chance to play really great FPS games. just cuz you only own one console doesn't mean that ppl who own 2 are fanboys. i only see one fanboy in this thread and that would be you. grow up and stop using a word that most accurately describes you to describe someone else.

does look very cool. but i think the gun bounces around too much when you walk. hopefully they reduce that a little bit.
this article lost all credibility when they said resistance and gears have the same fan base. it's not even close.
and guy above me, no, i agree with you. it does look good, but nothing special.
and final fantasy is NOT a sony original. so sony is lucky to have it. and notice nobody wanted to kill themselves when bioshock was announced for ps3. these little kids need to grow up and quit being so emo.

judging from all the flamers crying about this negative review, it's say the better statement would be 'Not all negative reviews are false.' but hey, can't tell these fanboys anything. sony could crap in a box and say it's the latest in graphics technology and if one person had anything bad to say about it, you'd all scream to high heaven about how the reviewer was having their period and should go back to playing wiifit.

I got my ps3 for this game and that's exactly how i felt. though i'd give it a 7/10. the game is still presented very well and some of those long cut scenes are awesome. Like the end of Part 3 when Liquid's on the boat. But as far as actual game play....there isn't much (Even the bike scene, while looking absolutely amazing and i wish more games could do that, was pretty shallow when you were actually shooting). and the stuff you do play is just...
but this review opens the same way the review for Uncharted should have gone. "some good new ides, some good use of elements, but poor implementation of the ideas combined with boring gameplay and lack of imagination in level design."
seems like 3rd party 360 games are usually scrutinized more than PS3 exclusive 3rd party games.
I'm sorry to have heard about this game though, i was actually still looking forward to trying it out.

and just to clear some things up. in the last couple years, sony has been nailed at least twice for engaging in illegal activity. First they got caught in the movie industry because a guy was giving favorable reviews to movies made by sony columbia pictures. but guess what...this guy turned...
i agree. we ps3 owners know what to expect. and as a ps3 owner i can safely say that i expect it to be a let down. every game gets overhyped by the fanboys and ya'll always say "we know it's going to be amazing" and yet, it rarely ever is.
I look forward to this game too, and i'm willing to wait til we're closer to launch to make my final judgment, but don't act all high n mighty about being a ps3 owner because so far the majority of the games haven't even come clo...
can these all be unlocked in co-op?

this article title is misleading. the title suggests 1 and 2 will come out at the same time.
i like how it says this is "great news for those who hate having to play against cheaters. " as if there are people out there that enjoy it.
it doesn't PROVE anything until we actually see a demo that proves it.
If it does turn out to be tru, then it might end up being a really good game. I just wish the destructible environments weren't isolated to scripted moments or limited specified locations.
But since we've seen very few games for 2009 in full, it (again) doesn't prove that it's the best game of next year. Plus i think you're forgetting a lot of titles that we already know about that are also going to b...
that the reason ps3 half-asses their services is cuz they know the fans will make excuses for them all day long? they don't need to put more into it, ya'll will just defend their decisions anyway.
i'm sure when Home comes out i'll read a million comments from people saying "wow, it's so awesome! i get to pay real money for a virtual couch!!! Sony is the best company ever!"
