what are you guys talking about? what was so special about it? i liked the part when he walked up the stairs for 2 minutes, then spent 2 more minutes walking down stairs.
pretty soon all you'll have to do is log into the game and you'll be lvl 70 with an epic flyer. this game has gotten so cheap, anyone wanna buy a tier 5+ priest/rogue?
i'd be fine with it. first off, i own both systems. second, i just want gamers to enjoy the games i enjoy. i think it's great when games cross platforms. I think exclusives are dumb. i mean the games themselves are not dumb, just the fact that they are exclusive. unfortunately that's not the way of the business world and this time around microsoft is just doing better business. it's not really a big deal. and either way, both companies will be around for the next generation. also, si...
HOW...in ANY way...does this effect anyone who owns a ps3? you are still getting the game. you guys are such immature babies. why wouldn't you want as many people to play this game as possible? you haven't been betrayed. betrayal is when your best friend sleeps with your wife, not when a game you love gets to be experienced by millions more people.
EDIT: People who disagree with this statement only do it because i've opened a window into your soul and you can't handle what...
thanks for proving my point, hypocrite.
There's no difference between the two companies. both makes billions, both spend billions, and both only care about you for your wallet. your loyalty lies in the hands of a mega corporation. you and all your fellow fanboys are complete TOOLS. Both systems have something to offer which is why i own both, but i can tell you from reading these forums for the past year, it is the ps3 fans that ruin the gaming community. i see 100 times more flaming coming from ps3 fanboys than i do from 360 ...
@Lord...you're an idiot. you're clearly a fanboy yet you don't know ps3 launched for 599.99 for the 60gig? and as for one blu ray vs many dvds. i'll take the DVDs. i'd rather spend 8 seconds swapping a disc than wait 8 minutes for the next section to load (see MGS4).
@Daver...no evidence microsoft paid them off. the guy said 360 has a bigger install base in US so they wanted more ppl to have access to the title. and even if MS did pay em...this is the business world, and as...
awesome new dashboard, and all these new features are just great. up to 8 people can meet up before a game and conference, then go into any game together or watch a movie through netflix. goodbye movie theaters. no 360 owner is going to have a reason to leave the house. all they need to do is incorporate a way to buy groceries through Live and have them delivered.
I was speaking hypothetically.
if your ps3 is so great, go play it...stop hounding people in articles that have absolutely NOTHING to do with you or your system of choice.
I have a day one model 360 and i don't hear it even when the sound is low. plus it's a steady noise (white noise) so you don't notice it anyway. but leave it to people with a system with no fun games to point out the flaws in a system they don't own. don't worry, little fanboy, you'll get your final fantasy 13 soon enough...and so will we...
but good for them if they do. the funny thing is, if they do get it, all those fanboys who've been jealous of halo for the last year and have run their mouths non stop about it will rush out and buy it.
sony getting halo would be a much bigger story than MS getting FF. and like i said, it would be every ps3 fanboy trying to rub it in the faces of the xbox owners after bashing it forever.
this whole thing could be solved if you guys just buy both systems. get a u...
it is hilarious listening to you people make excuses for sony.
this isn't even that big of a deal. it's one rpg that you are still getting anyway. but this was obviously a financial decision. they weren't gonna make enough money on just the ps3, not a big enough install base. or maybe they read the way ps3 fanboys act on n4g and thought..."This is our audience?"
is amazing. I've never been the biggest FF fan, but i know so many ppl are. and i know the ps3 fans will still get it on that...but my god. that was basically 1/3 of the playstations strength and microsoft snatched it up. I'd guess the production costs of FF are huge and they just don't think they could move enough software to justify the costs if it was a system exclusive. plus microsoft probably threw a few million their way.
The ONLY way sony can top microsoft now is if t...
all 3 are more than powerful enough to run a game that uses an engine from last generation. no reason this garbage game should be anything they can't handle.
you ma'am, are an absolute idiot. go back to your ps3 and enjoy playing...well...super stardust, cuz that's ALL you have that's worth anything on PS3. even MGS4 is just a movie with a few gameplay moments that hardly even compare to any of the Splinter Cell games on the original xbox.
There is absolutely no logic in your statement. nice try though.
any time a review shows one of these comparison videos and the 360 looks more washed out than the ps3, you have 100 ps3 fanboys saying "360 version looks more washed out, as usual." which isn't the case cuz usually it's the other way around. BUT, when it's obvious that the 360 version has the better colors then the ps3 fanboys always say "i adjusted the colors on my TV and it looks exactly the same."
it's the same in EVERY review, i didn't even need to look ...
only reason gamers burn more calories while gaming is cuz none of em are gettin laid.
a game on the ps3 that makes my purchase worth it...hopefully. we'll see when the final product launches.
obviously the sony fanboys were watching a different press conference, cuz the one i saw was boring as hell. nothing like watching a video of a ps3 every time he said the word, or a video of the psp every time he said that. he couldn't say a sentence without an 8 second video showing up behind him. and every game pretty much was just a CG video, not the in game stuff. I really needed sony to blow me away, they definitely did not. and why didn't they feature the agency? i saw about half ...
