isn't even an article. it's taking his words out of context. he said he likes the way they did the cut scenes but he'd rather have a short break then get right back into the action.
from all the things i've read, he's basically saying he doesn't really like MGS4.
graphics aren't mind blowing, but the gameplay looks substantially better than call of duty or resistance. the wii needs some good games.
@nirwanda: You forgot Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Halo 2, Morrowind, probably a buncha others. But those games, and the ones you've mentioned, look much better than a lot of the stuff i've seen this generation... COD, Resistance, Uncharted, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Army of Two, Turok, man i could go on for a while but those are games i've just pla...
You think uncharted looks good? it's one of the worst looking games i've seen. the character models and animations are all the same. the game has no textures. the only thing that game does well is the lighting. and the only fun moment in that game was the car chase. the explosions were absolutely atrocious, the physics were almost non existent, and the game play was so basic and boring that i could play the game with one hand. and YES, i do own it. cuz people like you made it seem lik...
they are now making video games based on mindless, idiot reality TV???
i thought we played video games to escape the garbage on television?
why would anyone wanna live in Australia? who are they to tell their people what they can and cannot watch and play? It is getting ridiculous. every few months we hear about people in australia being denied some game. that is crazy. start writing letters to your representatives, tell them you're fed up with their censorship. the gaming community is huge, if you mass them together, you can probably make a strong movement.
and beat it twice already. great game!
and of course they'd add trophies. they've already got the achievements in there, just need to rename them and make some trophies to display in Home...if that ever comes out. at least have trophies to display on the dashboard.
if EVERY game that comes out doesn't have trophies from this point on though, then it makes the whole trophy system essentially pointless.
speaking of that i guess i better turn on my ps3 t...
that there is another article that stems from this one that says "Cliffy loves MGS4." I'm pretty sure that's not what he said. He said they do an amazing job with the long cut scenes but he prefers quick cut scenes that get you right back into the action. I love how people spin other people's words around to help support their views. We already saw that he said he doesn't like "passive entertainment" so how could they then say he loves it? I don't get it.

you're a tool.
why on earth would i make that up? if i was so insecure that i needed to prove myself to some clown who's obviously a fanboy, i'd take a picture. but honestly, who cares. if you wanna buy it, i'd sell it to ya though. you love it so much, maybe you should have 2.
People who don't like FPS shouldn't be allowed to comment on Halo. it's still BY FAR the best console FPS. no other game even comes close. COD is basically a rail shooter. Resistance is just a joke. and every other game is a knock off. Bad Company is a good game, but it's only good relative to Call of Duty, it's what COD should be, but since the people at infinity ward are horrible programmers, that will never happen.
people need to give halo credit. if you're a ps3 fanboy...
I've often equated signing out of WoW to logging in to real life. People are so consumed by this game.
funny article though
EDIT: Speaking of that? anyone wanna buy a wow account? Tier 5 Epic priest, Epic rogue, and a 70 mage on the same account.
and i just bought a ps3 last week for metal gear and uncharted and heavenly sword and resistance...
i'm back to playing my 360. anyone want a ps3?
the pot calling the kettle black. lol. grow up
this game deserves a 7.5, no more. in fact, if it wasn't for the story and the solid presentation, it wouldn't even get that. in terms of game play, it's a side note. it feels like something they just tact on at the end. First play through i beat it on Big Boss hard and i've never played another metal gear before. It was just an incredibly easy, boring game. the only change was the boss fights, and they were just a pain (not to be confused with hard)... they were just very mechanical. ...
have always pushed game development along. Even now half life 2 doesn't look as good on consoles as it did for PC 4 years ago. and the problem is it's too easy to pirate PC games. console makers have too much control of the software that we put in. and i think it's good that consoles are doing well. the problem is that if PC gaming stops pushing the envelope, consoles will eventually start to hold us back. they won't be forced to make amazing looking games if PC game developers aren't p...
They exhausted all their franchises in a matter of 18 months. a console is expected to live for 5 years...thy haven't made it 2. the only thing left to really do is to recycle all those games AGAIN.
are both good ideas. the overall score doesn't matter though because people can get really easy games and buff the score. however, it's nice to be able to look at your competition before a match, compare games, and see what they've done that you haven't. it lets you know the level of competition you're about to enter.
with that said, the idea did belong to microsoft and it was taken by sony. and there is no "clever twist" with trophies. it's the same concept but if...
You DO NOT have to pay for achievements on xbox live. the only thing you are paying for is the ability to play games online. everything else stills works the same. so you still get achievements even if you only have Live Silver.
If you only own one system, please don't talk about the other as if you have a clu....that should be a rule that applies to everyone on N4G.
unrelated to the point of the article. go be a fanboy elsewhere. thanks
The ps2 is the flimsiest piece of hardware ever made. i don't know a single person who had one that lasted the whole generation.
i still have a day one xbox 360 and it works flawlessly.
also i have a ps3 and the online functionality, while making progress, is nowhere near as good as xbox live. i'll pay the whole $4.25 a month to have it.
