@guy below me: That's pretty much what i figured. It's basically ps3 fanboys trying to find any opportunity to criticize xbox. I pretty much have to update my ps3 every time i turn it on, and it takes a whiiiiile. these Live updates are a few seconds.

never had a problem. people just don't know how to keep their systems ventilated. also, i play my 360 probably 30 hours a week. but i play my ps3 probably 1-3 hours per week.
just no games on the ps3. and the online setup is just terrible. only good games on ps3 are ratchet and clank and metal gear. and metal gear online is lame. just no reason to spend hours and hours on ps3 yet. maybe killzone will change that, though i doubt it. i hope something happens though. cuz i...
when i heard this game was supposed to be out in 2006, i was excited. but as more details and videos emerged i realized this was just going to be another unreal tournament that doesn't have levels that end.

i think we have one more generation of just a straight focus on controllers. which is probably a good thing, cuz i know a ton of ppl who bought HD TVs just to play their current consoles.
but, as of 2015, i want some sort of glasses/headset setup.
i agree there should be more storage space on these discs. and i think blu ray is probably the way to go. however, the disc readers are too slow which is why i'd still rather swap discs. takes far less time to swap discs than wait for load times.
with that said, i think the hardware is probably about equal. combined with the obvious ease of programming for 360 vs ps3, i just cant imagine that multiple discs is that rough for developers. they've been doin it for years n years...

i dig this little show. and while i see the point of blu ray holding more i disagree about convenience. I would rather swap discs. too much load time with blu ray. takes me 5 seconds to hit eject, and pop in a new disc. takes 5 minutes to wait for the next section to load with a blu ray. i like where the technology is going, but the reader on a blu ray is too slow, hence all the loading. why does there always have to be more to it? this person did this because he/she saw, watched, played, listed to whatever. it's ridiculous. if you're gonna be a murderer, at least have the balls to accept responsibility for it. you're grown up enough to commit these crimes, but not enough to take the credit?

LOL @ all disagrees for my comment about this game being one of the most boring, horrid looking experiences of all the games i've played in the last year+. i don't know why people are in denial about this game. it looks like crap and the game play is flimsy and shallow.
i thought "man, that's pretty neat." then i saw it for 15 seconds...then 30...then a minute. ugg. how can you say "sorry nintendo?" i think the wii is actually pretty lame, but they have at least put the concepts to good use. this is just dull.

if you don't like halo, don't play it. but don't sit in a forum and try to convince people not to like it too. chances are your reasons are wrong and hypocritical. if i hear one more COD 4 fan accuse halo of being the same game as the last one, imma freak out. first of all, some FPS do have good ai. halo and rainbow 6 vegas come to mind. second not all FPS are the same and that's a really dumb statement to make. that's like saying ratchet and clank and mario are the same.
to address everyone's nutting over assassination...there is already a game mode like that, it's called VIP and it's in Halo.
and, finally, to the people saying this is the first FPS to use a cover ...
for saying we should move away from the spinning disc medium...which we undoubtedly will in another generation or 2. only a ps3 fanboy would disagree with an opinion like that. thanks for displaying the obvious irrationality of a ps3 exclusive owner.
