get a PC. games are 50 and updated content is almost always free...unless it's an expansion. plus the added user mods and updates.
guns are not the problem. and video games are not the problem. and it's so typical of americans to look to blame anything other than the actual source. This kid should have been brought up to respect the guns in his house.
also, you'd think his parents would recognize an unhealthy obsession with video games when they saw their kid decked out in cardboard armor and with 50 gun replicas in his basement...
Don't blame the guns!!! When the revolution happens, you're...
you must be an expert on hardware and software. i must have missed the meeting where all the developers agreed that they've hit their 360 limit while having plenty of room to progress with a ps3.
i don't suppose it could have anything to do with you owning just one of those systems and therefore you are biased towards it. it couldn't be that at all.
Crytek, Valve, and Blizzard are keeping me interested in PC gaming.
even though i have both ps3 and 360, i'd much rather play any FPS (except halo) on pc. and games still look better on PC.
and the new maps and addons are almost always free on pc, the games are cheaper, they are usually available for download so you don't have to pay for shipping OR tax and you can have them the moment they are released. a lot of times you can even pre-download them.
...
and game videos that show absolutely 0 in game footage.
adding more people doesn't make it a new experience. and while i think a second story for the co op is cool, i want to be able to play the main story with a friend, not some side story.
and the total number of people on the battlefield has absolutely nothing to do with the quality.
it's less than 2 months away, so we'll just have to see when the sales are out cuz we all know who's gonna out sell who. and when a year has passed, we'll see which game is still being p...
LOTR is a horrible series of movies. didn't do the books justice. they were complete B movies (minus the CGI).
just because today's youth is so dumbed-down by corporate produced music, tv, and movies that they can't recognize actual quality acting, directing, etc...shouldn't be a reflection of how many bubbles i deserve. or maybe it should...
i don't mean to crush the belief that any movie with special effects is amazing, but it's true. Jurassic Park was a great ...
master chief's name is John. but he and jesus do have something in common: both are fictional characters.
no it wasn't.
he's obviously in favor of ps3. because he doesn't notice how an article that's under ps3 has 1203487130 comments from ps3 owners who praise anything and everything sony does. but if you have an article under 360 you get 1203984710234 comments from ps3 owners who try to cut it up and use buzz words like "M$" and "Microsuck." it's pathetic to read and it's completely obvious on this website.
as for killzone, it's a sequel to a very...
Lets hope Peter Jackson is better at making games based on other people's ideas than he is at making movies based on other people's ideas.
what are you...sony reps???
don't be corporate monkey boys.
obviously sony isn't going to say "OMG, WE'RE SCREWEEEEEDDDD!!!"
they have to maintain composure even against tougher competition. it would make absolutely no sense if they said anything other than what they said. They are confident in their hardware and their software backing blah blah blah.
You guys act like sony is so amazing. get a clu. they are a business trying t...
yeah, i agree. resistance doesn't have a lot in common with gears except for humanity trying to survive against a much more powerful foe.
the truth is, resistance and halo get most of their ideas from Half Life. But Half Life did it better than both. In fact, HL is probably the best FPS ever made. Followed by HL 2.
i dont' think i agree that 3rd person and first person make that much of a difference though. in fact, gears is still basically an FPS sept the camer...
well...you could just play haze...
the reason some of those games are considered flops is cuz the hype was so high. if ppl could just relax and wait for a game to come out, then 7/10 would be acceptable. but when you hear about a game for 2 years and you hear about all the cool new technologies they are incorporating and their original ideas....you expect a 9 or 10. Too human, heavenly sword are both good examples of that. I also have a feeling force unleashed will go the same route.
I think you're confusing Tetris with Columns. Tetris was on gameboy and Columns was sega's answer to it. But it was a great game. both are great games.
the only reason why i might avoid telling the truth is just so i don't have to read moron comments like that one.
COD lost its top spot, they are trying to get it back so they are stealing double xp weekend which halo has been doing for a long time. unfortunately for COD, halo also mixes up the style each weekend, so one weekend is grifball, one is shotty sniper, etc...
you got a problem with halo? TOUGH! don't leave general statements meant to insult me. and sinc...
changing a word to flop...that's pretty clever. never saw that before.
i guess, as a ps3 fanboy, you aren't aware that lair and haze were much bigger flops. some ppl really like those games you call flops and some don't. but it's pretty widely accept that lair and haze were terrible.
with that said, this is completely off topic and isn't related to this pointless article. but seriously, don't be such a jerk. you're in the gamerzone, by the way. if you don't own...
???
another idea stolen from Halo. the COD series is just so original.
maybe there should be a warning with every grocery item you buy that if you don't chew enough times it can get stuck in your throat and you'll suffocate.
i could probably come up with a million useless warnings that should simply be common sense. ppl are killed by guns daily, do we really need a warning to say they might kill you too? so how is a warning in a teen or mature rated video game that says "hey, guns are bad" gonna change anything?
this all goe...
