Digital no doubt, because they can't get lost or get destroyed by scratches etc. Not to mention they are easier to organize and don't take up any physical space. I barely have any working games older than 2000 right now, and I've been buying games since 1985.

Well, if you really know so much about tech, then how come you're unaware of the increasing problem of transistor leakage? The smaller the transistors are the more they leak, which means they are less efficient than they could have been. Right now some kind of breakthrough is needed to get smaller and more efficient transistors.

First of all, it's funny that you think 3D gaming is both a fad and genious depending on if said gaming is at home or not. Clearly a bias.

Secondly, you're wrong about the glasses being headache-inducing and eye-straining. It's the 3D "illusion" itself which is, and without glasses it's actually even worse since when you're not in the perfect spot for the 3D effect you'll be straining your eyes even more. In any case, it's only a minori...

lol, that was the most biased nonsense I've read today.

@FatOldMan

Focus is something the eyes do individually, and is strictly speaking unrelated to 3D vision. When watching a 3D movie the eyes focus is fixed, just like they are when watching a 2D movie.

You talk about "the eyes try to change focus", but they really shouldn't do that. The individual eye knows how far it is to the screen, and will keep the focus there unless the person intentionally tries otherwise.

Now, that&#...

I hate it when games don't have camera settings. A choice between 'Normal' or 'Inverted' for both axes individually. Not having the camera work as I want it can ruin an otherwise perfectly good game.

I'm 30 years old and think FF13 is a very good game.

I don't find juggles cheap, but I find them to be a very boring mechanic. They made it even worse in 6.

It was. The team disbanded and there were no plans for another one. That was until the fans started petitions and lobbying.

I'm playing it right now. 60 hours in. One of the best games I've ever played. I don't understand the reviews at all.

Then I can understand why people are complaining about the prices.

So $60 isn't financially sustainable for the average consumer in the US? Meanwhile in the EU, games cost closer to $100. What is the average and minimum income in the US anyway? Where I live $26/hour is the legal minimum.

No, I'd rather they spend their time and budget on gameplay and content instead. Unlike La Noire, GTA doesn't gain much from having incredible facial animation.

I consider DLC simply as content that can be downloaded, which is what "DownLoadable Content" means by definition. This says nothing about size, and an expansion pack can also be DLC.

An expansion pack is an expansion pack if the developer chooses to call it that, no matter how big or small. There are no rules dictating how big an expansion pack has to be, although historically they have usually added relatively much content.

Glasses give much better immersion and 3D effect than glassless do. Also, glassless can't ever do VR, and that's where I want the future to go.

@thugbob

Funny how we have two unreleased games, both JRPGs with Final Fantasy in the name and created by the same company, yet you are somehow convinced one is "POS" while "dying to play" the other.

The mind is a strange thing indeed.

They did say that, but it would have been very stupid from a PR perspective to say otherwise. In any case, it surely doesn't hurt to have played through the first one.

This article isn't helping.

I call spamming "Attack" pretty shallow. Sure you had tons of options (and so did FF13), but why use anything other than the best attack?

To disprove me you have to do better than resorting to insults like a butthurt kid :)
