I wouldn't know. Haven't watched ads on TV since I got a PVR a few years ago.
And what's so great about being the king of ads? I'd rather they spent money on games.
"it is not unreasonable to suspect hackers are using the email addresses and passwords pilfered elsewhere"
Wrong. It's very unreasonable, because noone in their right mind would store passwords as clear text. Passwords are always hashed, and there's really no practical way of reversing a hash into the original text. And with practical I mean a way which doesn't take years.
Everything else was great reading.
I'll get the 3G version just because 50€ extra is nothing.
Try http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/s... (HDTV Selector)
If you choose size 42" or bigger, screen type 'All' and budget 'Not sure' you'll get a plasma on top 3 pretty much no matter what else you choose.
If lighting is not a big deal, there's hardly any reason to go for anything but plasma. LED is just a marketing ploy and its improvement over regular LCD is negligibl...
The FF13 battle system is genious. It's very deep, although not intuitively so (unfortunately). If you can't see it, then your loss.
Also, in FF7 there was hardly ever any good reason to pick anything other than standard attack. In other words, mashing X was usually the best strategy.
You are the first person I've ever come across with enough self-insight to realize that it might not be Square Enix that changed, but us. And for that I give you a bubble up.
It has been 15 years since FF7 came out after all, and aging from 15 to 30 has a tendency to change our preferences, believe it or not...
I'm over 30 years old now and I've been a fan of FF since 7. Back then I thought it was amazing. Still, since nostalgia seems to have no p...
lol, you are trying too hard. Life must suck when all you can do is hate and troll.
Reviews are also the opinion of one person, yet those are considered divine truth here on n4g. Except of course if the reviewer has a different opinion than yours, then it's either biased or looking for hits.
I thought the FF13 combat system was one of the best in the series, and many reviews mentioned it as one of the positive things about the game. Mashing X without healing might have worked in the first part of the game, but that changed (slowly) as you played through the chapters. I agree that the beginning of FF13 was too easy for too long.
That being said, if you didn't like the combat system you probably shouldn't buy the game, but unless you actually played at leas...
I disliked Skyrim before it was "cool". I bought it on Steam day one, played it 20 or so hours, then went back to the far superior Dark Souls. Bugs had nothing to do with me not liking Skyrim.
Who knows, but one thing is certain. Japan has a population if ~128 mill, USA has a population of ~313 mill. To be fair you have to multiply the length of those red bars by 2.5. Suddenly it's not so surprising any more, is it?
While the US might have the highest numbers, it's unlikely that it has the highest profits. US consumer prices are just too low. (I'm talking about US vs EU here, not Japan.)
This is just a total guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if a game sold in EU has 50% higher profit margin compared to a game sold in the US.
And still you complain about the prices...
(Also, UK is just a small part of EU.)
I have liked Toriyama's games very much. Infact X-2 and XIII are two of the very few games I've played through more than once.
I tried re-playing VII, VIII and IX when they arrived on PSN, but I just couldn't get myself to enjoy them as much as I remember I did back when they first came out. They just aren't good games by todays standards, and the nostalgia just isn't very strong for me.
I just couldn't get myself to enjoy Skyrim due to me being spoiled by better games.
1. After having played Dark Souls the combat in Skyrim is just embarrassingly shallow.
2. The world of Skyrim is like a tiny dot compared to the enormous World of Warcraft. WoW also has much more varied environments and quests.
I suppose what Skyrim has going for it is a good story and lots of possibilities, but what I mainly look for in a game is solid and fun gam...
Singleplayer only, no DLC, sold millions and didn't copy anyone else. It's actually just like Final Fantasy 13.
"I just think that some of the optional sidequests ask players to do things they would never come up with."
I don't disagree, but I would like to understand why this is an issue for you. Can you try to explain?
And did you by any chance play the game offline? When I played all of the "important" secrets were more or less flooded with messages hinting about it. I placed a few down myself too :)
Besides, there hasn't...
Absolutely nothing extreme about the difficulty in Dark Souls. You're probably just not old enough to realize this?
There are hardly any games coming out these days that are even a bit hard.
Which is?
Sorry, I meant carry limit and I've found a solution. Didn't even need a mod.
In the console: player.modav carryweight 1000
Why is it so important for people like you to broadcast to everyone that you don't like something? I bet you can't rationalize that even to yourself.
And when you say "We as fans will not accept this" it's just obvious that you're trolling, because even you know that lots of people like both 13 and the 13-2 demo. Sucks for you that you're not among them. Or perhaps you prefer hating?
