How come nearly all of his predictions regarding the game market have been wrong? We all may not be business analysts, but we have evidence that his predictions rarely come to fruition afterward.
It's not business expertise. It's basic cause-and-effect problem solving.
I'd give his opinion more credit if he wasn't wrong with every single prediction he spouts.
Solid review, Ryatta. You're lucky to have netted an import copy. Can't wait to play this.
I know. There are way too many people to communicate with at this point, but he had his chance to do that. He missed it and now he's trying to hide that mess by censoring everyone.
That's no way to support a fanbase. Silencing your supporters is a terrible idea. You're basically saying that the trolls deserve more attention than the fans, because you're taking more action in response to them instead of the people who actually like you.
Okay, firstly, there's no way he shot up to popularity that fast. I know that internet time is much faster than real-world time, but everyone starts somewhere. The second he started seeing himself getting somewhat popular, he should've started interacting, and not just with his fans. If people are being idiots in the comments, you don't just ignore them. They'll just keep being idiots.
And that's still no reason to silence your fans. They've stuck by y...
He's turning off the comments because he didn't communicate and develop his fanbase when he had the chance. When you're starting out, the first thing you want to do after posting a video is reply to the comments. Thank those who praise you, laugh off those who troll you, and talk to those who give you legit criticism. That "ignore the comments" stuff is garbage; you WANT to develop the comment section properly. That way comment sections don't start becoming angry ces...
I don't think it'll be remembered as prominently as the generation before it, and DEFINITELY not as prominently as the 16-bit era. Low to mid-level generation: some great games (both AAA and in the rise of indies), but also pushing the bad stuff that we've grown to hate like abuse of DLC.
Extra Credits are also the ones who wanted to rename "games" to "interactive experiences" which is a terrible effort to make the entire gamer culture into something politically correct.
"Gamers" shouldn't be renamed; we should just grow to be more inclusive of what the culture is and share the name with anyone who likes games, not just certain sects.
If Sony wanted to make Vita a remote play device primarily, they should've just done that, axed the original games mentality, and charged somewhere around $100 for it. Instead, we're left with a $200 system with a steadily weakening library of games and no effort to fix that from Sony.
That's what really gets me: the fact that Sony just let this happen. The Vita is such a well of potential that Sony just passed over. What's the point of releasing a system so t...
Joke's on you then, Ubisoft.
Give us a release date already, Nintendo...
Lost Swords is an incomplete game propped up by microtransactions. No thanks.
If the game is anything like P.T., it'll be worth the wait.
Surprise of the century...
Wow, this looks really awesome! Love how the Alaska-inspired environment is stylized. Very ghostly and eerie.
Stop teasing us, Sony, and just re-release the game on PSN already.
I hate to say this after the avalanche of WWII games that came out in the 2000's, but...yeah, a new WWII game would be kinda refreshing.
The problem at this point is that Vita support from devs and gamers has dried up, and with that in mind, getting everyone "back on board" with Vita is much, MUCH harder.
The point for a potential comeback has come and gone. It took Nintendo a year and a price cut to make the 3DS worth everyone's time, but they brought out AAA games that made the system worth it. After more than TWO years, we're still not seeing exclusive Vita content that's enough to jus...
This was actually pretty nice. Much more subdued and relaxed than I expected, instead of simply telling or instructing the viewer of what to do or how to act. I especially liked the "gift" example with Harvest Moon 64.
They've been art since the medium was first born. Any medium can be art if it presents itself in a way that it can interpreted as art. I don't know why this discussion exists; the answer's been clear since the very start.
