I don't know anyone who has even the tiniest bit of hope for the Wii U version coming out.
The added mobility and movement techniques really set it apart from Call of Duty, in my opinion. While I can't say it's the best shooter this year (or even so far this year), it's not a bad game by any means.
I really like the idea behind Afterlife Empire. It's like Haunted House Tycoon. Clever spin on horror themes!
The system itself is awesome. It's the name and the fact that "new 3DS" games will only play on "new 3DS" systems that bother people.
It's probably Gravity Rush.
BalrogtheMaster already made that joke. Still, it's a joke that illustrates the exact reason that Nintendo should've just called it the Super 3DS.
Sorry, yearly watered-down GTA games really aren't my cup of tea.
Yeah, but this is more akin to arcade fighters. Smash Bros. is kinda its own thing.
After hearing this news, I grabbed my 3DS XL and tried to find another place that the "c-pad" could go that would still feel comfortable. Putting the c-pad too low would make it easy to loose grip on the system itself. Unlike a controller, the 3DS is a system and you're looking at it and holding it while playing it. Since the c-pad would require lots of motion, you could easily lose grip on your system if your hand wasn't also under the system to hold it.
Pu...
That's an interesting point. Perhaps this has something to do with Nintendo aiming to unify the ecosystem surrounding their consoles and handhelds. Curious...
I hope they call it the Super 3DS, because that implies that it's still in the 3DS line and can play 3DS games, but has enough new features to be worth upgrading to some folks.
If it means getting Xenoblade Chronicles on a handheld, I think I'll manage.
Saints Row IV was one of the best games released last year and I highly recommend that game to anyone who likes their games to prioritize fun over logic.
That being said, this remaster doesn't sound like it'll be worth buying, especially since Saints Row IV was on PS3, 360 AND PC already. Unless you had none of those systems prior to buying a PS4 or Xbox One, this remaster is a waste of time and money.
"They chose the blue ocean starting with the DS, it led to weaker systems compared to the competition, and this led to reduced third party support."
That development philosophy didn't start with the DS at all. Nintendo used that "weaker tech, cheaper price" ideology as far back as the Game Boy. The Game Boy had weaker tech than its competitors too, but it did great on third-party support.
Third-party developers go to where the money is...
Remember when Criterion Games said that neither Nintendo nor EA did much to get the Wii U version of Need For Speed: Most Wanted into the public eye? I think that situation is the perfect example to describe the whole "Nintendo third-party" scenario.
Both sides are responsible.
But this Lara Croft HATES tombs!
Played this on PC. It's REALLY good. Wii U owners should pick it up!
It definitely makes sense.
It doesn't matter how much of a "major step forward" VR is unless there is the development effort and price accessibility needed to make it work for the masses.
That's what Sony needs to prove to everyone: that this technology isn't just worth its asking price, but also that development efforts toward Morpheus aren't going to die out barely a year after the device's release.
Firstly, none of these are too embarrassing. The "hit with your own grenade" one, maybe, but there's way too much competitive multiplayer stuff on this list, many of which are shooters. Could use some more surprising and diverse examples.
Secondly, I sure do hope the webmaster/author/CEO knows that making us click through ten individual pages (one for each example) is a really easy way for users to hate your website.
