I work for a retailer (non-gaming) and we usually get offered large quantities of stock that the suppliers are unlikely to sell again at full price because a newer model of the product came out and/or its too old. There is never an extra discount on 'in-line' products which is what most people actually want.

in FIFA when you play online, squad data is separately downloaded and verified when you enter an online mode which means even if you managed to tamper with the squads in single player, you wouldnt be able to ruin online for everyone else. If EA out of all companies can do this, I dont see why a developer as experienced as PD cant.

Probably so they can use it as a PS5 PS+ game. They gave the PS5 version of wreckfest even though it had been a PS4 one in the past.
No. Theres literally no incentive to play a game near launch these days.
You have to be the guinea pig who plays it without the patches that eventually come along. And a year later when the developer sells other people the 'complete' edition for half the price you paid for the incomplete version, they still ask you to pay an extra £20 on top for the DLC that comes in the 'complete' edition.
I was desperate for one when it launched but since then they've made loads of decisions which have made me become disenchanted with the brand. I still want one but I honestly dont care if its tomorrow or a year later. The games launched so far either dont appeal to me or I could play them on other platforms I already have.
Does the sprint actually make you go faster now or is it still only an illusion?
Sony already has plenty of PS3 games on PS Now.
Old content is nice but people STAY subscribed to online services whether its PS Now, Gamepass or Netflix for the new content and thats where Sony needs to be more competitive. The vast majority of games on PS Now are really old.
Whats the point paying for PS+ if they're going to cheap out on online services anyway.
The question is will EA be kind enough to ban the customers and put them out of their gambling addiction misery, or will they turn a blind eye and hope they go back to buying hundreds of packs?
I have PS+ and PS Now and it costs me more than game pass ultimate would if I had an xbox. And I still dont get to play EA access games.
Might consider getting the platinum trophies for these if they left the online crap out.

Free = £0
PS+ = £50 annually
Is £50 greater than £0? Yes
Therefore PS+ is not free.
So they'll patch in the gambling post-launch?
I can do that right now on PS Now lol
Why? Serves them right for supporting such a disaster of a game if they saw the reviews, and serves them right for pre-ordering before the reviews came out.
I cant remember the last time someone said "oh no, I cant play this game because I didnt pre-order it and the digital store has completely sold out of copies!!"
