If you prefer professional reviews over user reviews, that's fine but lets not pretend like most people do.
GT7 is officially the lowest user rated playstation game.
How will they preserve GT7 when the servers shut down?
Affiliate marketing killed journalism. You just have to be a half decent clickbaiter and paraphrase someone else to earn a living as a 'journalist'. The days of investigating, interviewing and having a bunch of sources to create an original and credible article are long gone because that's not what brings in the money. Hundreds of poorly written, click-baiting, quickly published articles is where the money is.
Being on a subscription service means you're always going to get loads of more views that if you sell your stuff. It doesnt mean you lost money.
If he had a movie and 10m people saw it on netflix that doesnt mean 10m people would have gone to the cinema to watch it.
Sony do not mention the games are "free" anywhere on their website. The Advertising Standards Authority would have them take it down immediately in the UK and I'm sure other countries would have equavalent laws regarding false advertising.
Many people have just deluded themselves into thinking that their opinion that the games are "free" stands up against false advertinsing laws, but it doesnt that that's why MS, Sony, Netflix or any other subscr...
Imagine supporting digital games 🤮
Most developers split the save data and game data for multiplayer/esports modes with the save data and game data for single player / offline modes. It shouldnt really be that hard for a Sony developer.
Its funny when people defend live service games with "yeah sure its shit now, but one day it will be great, just wait!", while not realising that is exactly the reason that makes them shite and the cancer to the industry that they are.
They could easily split the save data for different game modes, the same way FIFA separates (and verifies where required) squad data for FUT mode, seasons mode, and career mode. If that really is the excuse, I really worry about the level of competency at Sony and PD.
Not surprised. More often than not PS store prices are a complete rip off compared to physical copies.
Do you realise that the teams making the AAA games arent the ones working on the consoles UI?
You cant blame a practice after you've admitted to supporting it. Like RedDevils said, wait and get the complete edition for less than half the price. Unless you started gaming yesterday, you should already have a backlog of other games to play.
I dont think there are even enough people on here who can genuinely differentiate between a republish, a remaster, and a remake, let alone know about scalable engines.
They need to have another go at an fps game, the competition has weakened in that genre, especially in single player.
And Driveclub deserves another chance too with the faster SSD. I'm surprised that they didnt remaster it to show off on the PS5. It was by far the best looking game I played on PS4 and among the most fun too.
The age rating is usually a good clue about the content of a game. Anyone who is sensitive should probably avoid 18+ games instead of asking for them to be nerfed and ruining the fun for everyone else.
No sympathy for people who buy games without finding out whether they're broken or not. Those people are contributing to the problem of devs releasing unfinished, untested games then releasing massive patches weeks or even months down the line because they know they can get away with doing that.
You'd have to if you bought a discless console.
Devs making stupid decisions isnt surprising or uncommon. I'm just annoyed Sony backed the stupidity by putting it as the main game on their premium subscription service.
Yeah switching it would be better. Wont ever be playing Godfall and will avoiding all of the developers games from now on.

Avengers is the 'live service' crap though that no-one likes
