Even if I agree that making cutscenes worse than what they could have been is more immersive, the devs could still pre-render the cutscenees at the level of graphcis the gameplay is at, and you'd be none the wiser compared to if that cutscene was being rendered on the console. My point is simply that there is literally no selling point when it comes to real time cutscenes.
Do you realise its just a nice way of saying everyones consoles are using more power/electricity to produce a cutscene that will look worse than what they could have pre-rendered from the 'max setting' in the dev build?
lol $70
Its got PS+ extra tier written all over it. Save your $15
You didn't have to buy the dlc separately, it came with it. Games like cod4 remastered that made you pay extra for the dlc got shit on as well. No need to be a shill just because sony is involved this time
Shill
TLOU2 didn't exactly hold its price for long either and it was heavily bundled for a longer time than days gone was.
Because we can see what it looks like from the trailer and it looks like a remaster
When they day comes when publishers don't want their AAA games on the subscription, then just cancel it like most of us will. Until then just chill and enjoy it while it lasts. I don't know why so many people are upset about getting a good deal they admit won't last forever lol
Same reason they still made GT7, Horizon and Ragnarok for ps4 I guess.
Because people aren't exactly lining up to buy them for £70 are they? Few people will buy any game for £70 if they can buy another great game for £20. Nintendo get away with it because there's not a lot of competition on their platform and there's not many Nintendo-like games on other platforms.
"At the time I left Sony, Days Gone had been out for a year and a half (and a month), and sold over 8 million copies. It's since gone on to sell more, and then a million+ on Steam. Local studio management always made us feel like it was a big disappointment. #daysgone #PlayStation"

But 2m more is praiseworthy from Son...
No, it's just surprising because Sony didn't think 9m sales were enough for days gone to get a sequel but 1m more is somehow good for their most marketed exclusive from their best and probably most costly developer on a game which had a higher budget and was a sequel that won countless awards.
Lowest metacritic user score in Blizzard history, not soon after GT7 became the lowest scoring Sony game.
Lets keep it up then maybe we might have a small chance of eradicating microtransactions, at least from the big franchises.
Nah, DC only got shit on because of the painfully slow loading times. Its not a sim so maybe wasnt optimised for steering wheels but it still had more content and better AI than most GT games. And you didnt have to give up your job for a realistic chance to unlock and play with all of the top cars.
Oh lol. I've given up even bothering to look into a game properly before launch anymore because of all the BS
"Although Driveclub didn’t do well at all, the damage was already done to GT6."
LMAO driveclub was the best racing game on ps4
Remember folks there's 0 good reasons to preorder any games but a hundred good reasons to wait at least a week after launch.

Thats only the short term business perspective.
The long term business perspective is that they're detering people from becoming early adopters of new consoles in the future.
I picked up a PS5 out of FOMO, but I dont feel like I'd be missing out on much if I stuck with a PS4 until the next-gen only games came out.
They'll use it as a PS+ essential monthly game at some point before they add it to the extra tier games list
