Did you not hear the CMA has pretty much approved the deal: https://www.bbc.com/news/bu...
You may of missed it since good Xbox news doesn't get posted here much.
That's exactly my point it is at it's strongest so it's only downhill from here, the console market is limited and without growing into other marketed like PC or mobile Playstation will fade into dust which is why he's leaving now.
I would maybe agree with you if the ABK deal wasn't approved but with ABK Xbox is here to stay.
Forever.
I am pretty sure the whole of Sony knew that was dead on arrival they didn't even let a single first party dev make anything for it because they knew it was a waste of resources. They just wanted to get a few extra dollars from those diehard PS fans.
MS doesn't need all those 1st party devs since that all make the same cookie cutter 3rd person narrative driven games with skills trees. Just getting one will be enough they don't need duplicate studios.
And yet Phil is only getting promotions instead of the boot.....interesting :)
Not surprising getting out while the stocks are high he knows the future isn't bright for Playstation.
I just can't understand a nearly 40% price hike, is Sony really that desperate for more money? Or do they think their player base aren't bothered and will pay whatever they say.
They should have done the increase in small increment this kind of arrogance for sure warrants unsubscribing 100%
This is what happens when you have a run away market leader. It's only going to get worse...
Insane price hikes I guess they have to make their money back from the hardware price cuts from somewhere.
Surprised the parity clause even covered optional gameplay features, was kind of hoping for a delay since it would increase the chance of a Day 1 Game Pass release.
Also cuts in Canada too, clearly they don't want to miss their sales target for a second quarter in a row.
The third person animations look amazing, that extra year really paid off.
Sounds like a good concession, although I don't see why it's only limited to 15 years they should of made it forever since streaming will likely be a much bigger deal in the future.
Yes they are and quoting from MS:
"The details on this is very well done, the textured lil rubber-like grips on the inside help hold the console wrap in place and inside is very soft.
Outside is an almost leather like feeling, all those graphics you see on the outside are also raised ink and feels really premium."
Genius idea from MS, no need for limited edition consoles with these and they look pretty premium too.
Guess it's return of the faceplates.
Looks like we are already seeing the petty reasons people will come up with to dunk on this game.
You don't even need an Xbox One you can just play it directly through your TV without any console at all.
They should delay it into next year honestly too many massive games coming out at the end of the year: Starfield, BG3, Forza, Spiderman, Mario Wonder, Detective Pikachu, Assassin's Creed, MGS collection, COD.
It will be hard enough for them to standout even without any big releases.
It's for the best it would have failed anyway without the original team.
I do wonder how many millions Sony wasted on this.
