God bless! Keep bringing in all these exclusives Sony!
"thier startegy seems to be showing games way too early in production and a lot of delays."
That strategy is anything but exclusive to them. Remind me again how many Xbox games were announced 2-3 years ago, touted as the awesome 2016 lineup compared to the competition, and then were either cancelled or delayed?
Sony's strategy, if anything has been to spread out the games each year and avoid the oversaturated "FPS" bananza from Oct...
"Cant wait to see you guys damage control it"
Nah...I'm pretty sure we're all smart enough to know that you indeed CAN WAIT till then. Just like Scorpio, they show a little to nothing and have you all saying it's the second coming. That's when you know a company has you by the family jewels.
""I think things are more bleak in terms of actual exclusive support for Scorpio. "
Lol what?"
- Septic
LOL at Septic having a hard time understanding a sentence as clear as day.
I think things are more bleak in terms of actual exclusive support for Scorpio. As it is, the Xbox is way behind in terms of offering exclusives throughout the year. With Switch coming out early next year, and Sony releasing big exclusives...MS should be focused on having more than just 3 games a year from them.
Especially when you consider that most 3rd party games that did well have been shallow at most (Destiny, The Division, COD, Evolve, Assasins Creed, etc.).
$550 to $599 (with an elite controller) is more in the ballpark with the way MS prices their hardware.
"The PS3 sold rather well and that was $599 ten years ago."
Wrong, the price was actually priced at $499 like the Xbox One was.
"If Microsoft can show substantial improvements over the Pro I can see it doing well. "
And to the rest of your comment, MS needs more than just 3 games a year of overused franchises to actually make a case that paying extra would be worth it. You can have the fastest car in the world, but ...
Well TF2 unfortunately had bad timing in the market that's already taken by BF1. ROTR seems to have fallen into the same predicament. And well the rest are just rinse and repeat games.
It seems as though people spent their money on new/more powerful hardware or are saving money for the more diverse set of games that will close off the year.
"Most of those titles are indies. Others arent exactly demanding third party titles. "
Doesn't matter, it's a good list of good games that play native 4K. Much better in my opinion than the long list of games (1st and 3rd party) that play at dynamic resolution on a certain console...hmm
"DEFENSE FORCE MAN YOUR BATTLESTATIONS"
And here everyone, is the perfect example of a troll who has had a year of no games.
I have one (white Xbox to be exact). And you're either blind or dumb to the fact that MS has reused the same 3 franchises just about every year in a different order. New IPs? You mean the ones that the Xbox fanbase say exist but don't support?
Yeah QB and Recore really make the Xbox stand out in the new IP department. I only have it to play with my best bud who is overseas.
They definitely do! PS3 had some of the best and most abundant last gen (MGS4 and TLOU just two name my top two in quality).
MS on the other hand...not so much. Halo, Gears and Forza can only do so much for them.
First of all, you need exclusives to even be close to such a comparison lol
The Xbox One's closest competitor in sales is the Wii U. This is just another pointless article that attempts to make a 2:1 sales difference seem like nothing.
We're talking about PSVR. Not the Xbox One.
@JackBNimble
It's nothing new from him. Some of the articles he's submitted usually center around flaimbait topics. Come the end of the holiday he'all probably have another one. You should see the one from last year.
Don't you have some 720p "dynamic resolution" games to play rookie? Or was two or three games this year not enough that you have plenty of time for trolling?
"Yeah, I was gonna be a Sony fanboy for Halloween, but I couldn't get my head to fit up my ass."
That's the sort of stuff Xbox fanboys enjoy?? Sounds like MS needs to release more than just 2 exclusive games a year because you have way too much time on your hands.
MS digs their own holes then tries to crawl out and fill them with BS. They and their fanbase didn't care for VR and now talk about wanting to lead in it.
So I don't think it takes a genius to be skeptical about their take on anything. The backtracking and hot air they've spewed over the years only gives more reason to be skeptical.
Both deals are a steal for anyone that wants the best console on the market right now in terms of game quality and quantity!
