People saying it's not worth the upgrade. Yet dished out another $300-$400 to get a slim Xbox One that is still the biggest console in size (not so slim), lacks consistent first party support and still plays first &third party games at sub-HD and "dynamic resolution" settings.

A console that is a year out will obviously sound "beastly" by just word of mouth and no demonstration. Since we're still in 2016, I don't think it takes a genius to know that the most powerful console every made will be coming next month. Since it'll actually be made. Not made up on...

I agree with you @gangsta_red. I think a lot of people misuse the term to denounce someone else's opinion or another reviewer's.
However, if the article can't substantially give evidence for its score. Then I would definitely see it as clickbait. Unfortunately, that's not the case for some games that are just truly lacking in either single player or multiplayer or both.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that MS is the only one who games "gaming hdds". It's not surprise though since they piece apart their consoles with things it should include like the "play and charge kit".
What about the content now? Scorpio is an excellent focal point for them to rebuild, but what about for the next year?? Look at how much was delayed this year. How do we know it won't just happen again.

Doesn't take away from the fact that Sony has a treasure trove of hardware and software to close off the year. And Nintendo will be potentially taking the market by storm if NX hits all the right notes.

Both services are average at best with these free games. Sometimes though, they get some great months like they are now.

Age definitely is a lot more indicative of other things (besides availability to play) when you use it as a measure for anything. I mean seriously, just look at some of the comments on this site with Rookie and Magiciandude
Credibility: I work with data and statistics day in and out. Believe me, age is a very telling metric.

It'll only come up when people bring up the fact that Sony upgraded 40+ million PS4s with HDR capability at no cost.
And they'll further ignore it when you bring up the fact that they'll be playing 720p-900p games from now till possibly the end of next year.
That's life I guess.

Honestly, I think this comes down to the individual user. I expect things like this to occur a lot in the coming week. We'll have a lot of articles on it even though it's been discussed at length already.
