I respectfully disagree. I believe that this game is a masterpiece because of the deep connection that is built so well throughout the game. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a game as much as I did with this one.
All on top of this gen's most beautiful soundtrack!

The start has you playing so conservatively when it comes to interacting with Trico.
By the middle of middle of the game y...
I thought this game was supposed to come out this month?
Thankfully though this is factual compared to the "4K gaming" nonsense that MS tried to pull a couple of weeks ago, and at E3 with the Xbox One S, and generally throughout this gen.
Nice try downplaying nothing Moldy 😊
That sounds like exactly where Xbox is going at this rate.
Nah, PlayStation is doing well off the way it is now. (:
"Next year will be big for them with Scorpio, Scalebound, and Crackdown."
Take out Scorpio and that's literally the same thing everyone said last year. Look how that turned out.
I see crackdown taking the year for Xbox, but I don't think Scalebound will be supported at all by the Xbox community. It just doesn't fall under the usually and preferred genres that always do well for them.
Thank you!
This post is exactly what I've been talking about. Last gen the PS3 had so many exclusives, and all I heard on this site was how exclusives don't matter and that Call of duty plays better on my console.
Sony supported a lot of devs last gen that have now become bigger studios and make much bigger and better games.
I play it a ton with my brothers on the PS4. Most of my friends have an Xbox, so having a cross platform game like that with them would be awesome.
I agree, they definitely won't go out of business...
But just because they don't go out of business with it doesn't mean that taking a constant loss of profit is smart. Software and ecosystem only go so far.
MS does have a lot of money, but I could bet all the money in the world that the Xbox division is not where they would allocate more resources if it is not succeeding. They have plenty of other divisions/subsidiaries that do well and have...
@bg116
How was it not civil?
I brought those up because the same idea of "wait and see" came up for those in regards to helping sell more hardware. Rookie was the primary one who would troll random comments of mine to tell me that. Yet nothing major happened in sales.
And I already have an Xbox. I've stated before that I do own one to play with my best bud who lives a good distance from me (games I own: GTA V, Halo MCC, H...
Red, you and I both know that their "limited time price drops" have stayed or come back as official price drops. Not a bad thing at all, but I think we're all smarter than that.
I'd say by April you'll see that. Sony usually takes off in sales throughout the spring, so it's usually a good tactic for MS. I believe that's how they took April in the US. Their previous price cuts have happened around that time.
People expect Scorpio to do well at a "Premium" price, yet they have to continually lower the price below $250 just to get people's attention. Not a good sign.
So he plays an Xbox?
I've said it once and I'll say it again:
Scorpio will no doubt be a beast...but if there are only a handful of exclusive games next year, then it will not be as successful as it can be. MS has new IPs, but their fanbase (who doesn't normally frequent these sites) have a set taste for games (fps, tps, and sport games). They need more diversity to go up against Sony and Nintendo's switch next year.
Is anyone really surprised about this? Let's not forget about the huge size misrepresentation of the Xbox One S in its announcement trailer where they got people to pre-order this:

When it actually ended up being this:

This really isn't a surprise to anyone. Their fanbase supports multiplayer games over single player ones or single player content in general.
Lol I got a good laugh at #2! I couldn't agree more.
Not only does Xbox need to worry about PlayStation eating up a lot of the gaming and 4K consumer market, but they also have to factor in the consumer market that will be going for the Nintendo Switch.
With little diversity in their exclusive games, I don't see how they think things will improve for them in the coming year?
