A lot of room to improve? So 5+ years (pre-announcement development + post-announcement development) wasn't enough time to improve it?
Hilarious the sort of excuses we're hearing. I thought we all learned from NMS? Clearly some people did not learn and are using the same excuses many they complained about with NMS.

Lack of direction (random initiatives, inconsistent/strange marketing practices, and overused franchises) and over-hyped promises that are usually never met (power of the cloud, more first party games, DX12...there's a whole "chalkboard" joke that really covers all of this).
The people that defend this stuff are just blind to it. I could write a whole blog on this.

"They've fallen far from last generation"
You could see the decline in quality and their system confiding in COD year after year as their sole source of gaming. I see them attempting the same with PUBG and getting worse next gen.
It's making even more sense why, recently, all these games are going straight to game pass. Crackdown 3 seems to be next with the way things are panning out.
I wonder if they'll actually start marketing it now. Especially since some fanboys on this site said MS was holding back on marketing to focus only on SoT lol
"...but the game was designed to have additional content injected into it at certain intervals over time."
You're joking right? People waited almost 4 years for this game and now the excuse is that it was made this way so that people could wait longer for more content? Who knows what these guys were doing since before and after they announced it till now.
He should have just yelled the good ol' Major Nelson, Aaron Greenberg and Phil Spencer war cry... "Wait for E3!"
No actual substance in this interview.
The pattern of movement was the same over the span of 30 seconds and then they’d randomly turn in my direction and shoot. Even though I had never been in their sight.
Edit:
Turns out its the guy that is known to manipulate comparison videos. I don't see this article getting approved. Especially with the chance that it has been manipulated (aside from his choice to purposely slow down the xbox one x video).
So no release date and gameplay is your metric for it not being that big of a deal?
If only fanboys like yourself held that standard for each thing MS announced. State of Decay 2 was hardly marketed until just recently, yet it was part of last year’s “most diverse lineup ever for Xbox”. Your examples are just hypocritical.
There’s no argument here. Fact, if this WWZ game holds true and delivers, all multiplayer zombie games will lose a lot of their playe...

“...the official Facebook page of the game mentioned that the plan is to launch this year...”
Please read next time, so that you don’t get sonned. It makes it too easy.

“To me, the real fun with swarms is the online co-op experience – World War Z is the only game to offer an online experience with such massive quantities of fastmoving enemies.”
Shots fired! They seem to be going after State of Decay 2 with this game with a comment like that. If they hold up to their promises, this could steal SoD 2’s thunder.
It being silky smooth on PC doesn’t mean it’s silky smooth on the original Xbox One as well. People tend to focus on the X all the time forgetting that 90%+ of the Xbox fanbase is on original hardware.
If made? Lmao! This is coming from one of the fanboys who took those statements and ran with them. 😂 they made those statements so many times and so many people fell for it and bought an Xbox for that reason.

I had a “person” doing sharp 180 degree turns every couple of seconds and running away from the into the red zone in the middle of an open field.
Guarantee 90% of the game is bots.
Dang, sounds like it’s going well but going rough as well for them.
They really must have sped this up with Fortnite coming out on mobile.
Either way, I’m excited to try this on mobile! Especially since it’s still too laggy on console.
As an investment, it would be when it doesn’t have a consistent flow of quality games.
Thankfully, Switch is a console that is NOTHING close to that definition. Honestly it’s one of the best consoles I’ve ever owned.

I’ve played this game so much since it launched on PS4 a long while back this gen. Hoping it plays well on the older Xbox ones as well.
@Kribwalker
One can only hope.
