In all honesty, and unbiased thinking, PUBG’s increasing success on Xbox could cause this game to not perform as well as intended (sales and uptake wise) at the start. Especially with the roadmap update the PUBG devs are set to lay out one of these days. Saw an article on it yesterday.
A new map on PUBG could have even more people flock to it. Hopefully they’ll continue to optimize the game overall as well.
Half of those games have either been milked or were announced between now and 3 years ago. If that’s enough, then that’s pretty sad to be content with as a gamer.
Hopefully they’re good. I know a lot of people have been waiting for just anything in general on Xbox.
Save the salt for the rest of the Xbox fanboys Septic. Lol
That was AWESOME! This game is game of the year material for sure.
I don’t agree with them needing to be essentiall to each other. We’ve seen it before with MS and Kinect. Doing that would leave Sony in the place that MS is right now, playing catch up.
I think the author meant to put 40 million. No way it's even close to that.
And you're right, it isn't the primary source of income for them. Which also equates to a division of MS that does not hold all of MS' money to buy out billion dollar corporations like many on this site think...
The gamecube one could end up being what they build off of. But a MGS remaster with MGS4 or MGSV level of detail would be amazing.
@343
How is it a lie? Did the whole fanbase who owns an Xbox One and Xbox One S all of a sudden get an upgrade?
Nope, they still plays games at those resolutions.
The simplest topics seem to really get your noggin going, huh Woolly?
It’s a part of any company that wants to use their time and effort wisely.
I mean, imagine if they put so much effort into one feature that is marginally used. When that same effort could be used for more expansive and innovative features that are heavily used. It simply sets priority.
Considering that 90% of the Xbox fanbase is still playing most of their games at 720-900p, I don’t think MS has delivered anything system wide.
It’s a new feature that many will use. Let’s leave it at that before you make yourself look even more clueless.
Lmao
The salt is strong with this one!
Or the fanbase is ok with that quality of a game. Not sure what standards it satisfies beyond the jittery gameplay on the Xbox One.
Lmao nope, this is for the Xbox you all seem to forget exists.
Xbox One (Phat QB Version), which is practically identical to the Xbox One S.
Just because you can sell a pile of you know what to a lot of people, doesn’t mean it now runs amazing. It still runs bad and needs a ton of optimization.
The game plays horribly on a standard Xbox. Not sure how they can be pushing this when it’s literally potato quality right now. Even the X1X has problems running it, but it’s way more manageable.
These heavy story driven games really define the fanbase that enjoys them. And really adds value to the consoles that support them. Good variety.
I really enjoy Telltale games just because of how deep they can get. Same can be said for most in that genre.
I agree. Not even last year was filled with any exclusive megaton exclusives. I’m glad we can finally drop the “wait till E3” narrative and actually be realistic about their current efforts or “moves”.
@Asuka
Some people don’t understand how “irony” works. He isn’t proving his point.
“...but only 4 years later with big question marks surrounding the future of Xbox.”
Septic finally opened his eyes to questioning MS’ actions toward the future, and seeing the bigger picture. 👍🏼
